Out now in @CD_AACR, timed with my #AACR26 talk. Deep Visual Proteomics across the full PanIN → PDAC progression. 5,800+ proteins per region from 50–100 cells, 9,181 across the dataset. Normal ducts next to cancer aren't normal. Mass spec reads KRAS hotspot mutations directly off the protein. bit.ly/3OxHiSQ

Exciting new #DVP study on the origins of high-grade serous ovarian cancer (#HGSC). Extracting as few as 12 mutated cells from precursor lesions and profiling consecutive tumorigenesis, this study took a formidable technical challenge and identified novel therapeutic targets.

Excited to see this masterpiece out @Nature today. In this study, @JannaHeide, @AndrasPiffko, @ErnstLengyel & colleagues @OvCa_UChicago unraveled molecular mechanisms of NNMT in ovarian cancer and developed a specific inhibitor. A highly promising therapeutic avenue.
