@SafSmiless She realized they had set up 2 factor authentication on their iPhone with her account. So maybe that’s how they get back in? Check your email hasn’t been hacked as well change passwords for everything and if you get it back again add 2-factor.

⚠️‼️ WARNING - COMPROMISED ACCOUNT - AND THE GOAL OF THE VOTE-FOR-ME SCAM EXPOSED AND the hacker DIRECTLY exposed himself! This scam keeps popping up everywhere: the Vote-For-Me scam. What happens is that an account gets hacked and compromised, and then the hacker sends a message asking you to vote for them, with a phishing link. So what happened is that this account - @jphilli8 (NOT the real person, this account has been HACKED and COMPROMISED) sent me the usual DM begging me to vote. I forwarded my post about the malicious Vote-For-Me DM's instead. And guess what it sent me then? See left screenshot - it DIRECTLY asked me to pay to get the account back, then immediately blocked me. Why is this so important? It exposes the goal of the whole scam: the Vote-For-Me scam is a ransomware-type scam, where the Nigerian hackers demand money in order to get the account back. Please spread the word. Oh, cool. I couldn't get into my X account on my phone for about the past week. Now I've changed my PW and all is, except they've informed me that certain restrictions will be placed on my account. We shall see
