@andersoncooper Anderson — Indie bookstore owner and AC fan here. Please have author @LisaKeefauver on your show. Her book, Grief is a Sneaky Bitch, has been well received by and helpful to many of our readers.

A new episode of my podcast about grief, All There Is, is now available wherever you get your podcasts. It’s a conversation about “coming back to life” after a devastating loss. This is part of my talk with religion professor #ElainePagels who lost her husband and 6 year old son within about a year of each other.

I ran into one of my favorite places in El Paso, Literarity Book Shop, @Literarity, voted 1 of the top 5 Independent Book shops in TX. I spotted On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder,@TimothyDSnyder. What an appropriate time to read this. Owner Bill Clark also provided me w/On Freedom!

We’re grateful for your support in our ninth holiday season! In the spirit of sharing, we also encourage borderland residents and visitors to show some love to El Paso’s other locally owned indie bookstores — Brave Books, Cactus Flower Bookery, Margin Notes Bookbar, and The Nook.

@elonmusk That’s not an “observation.” It’s a wild-ass opinion not at all based on any kind of scientific study or empirical data. #dobetter

My observation is that a major driver of white males becoming trans is the relentless propaganda portraying white men as the worst human beings. If those lies land, especially during vulnerable teen years, and they are given an option to be a “celebrated” group, some will do it.

My Kroger's has roughly 170 options for pasta sauce. 210 sparkling water SKUs. 40 syrups. 100 sizes & brands of bottled water. For what? It's choice overload and the logistics of all this raises prices. Aldi is going to crush it in the US. The concept of smaller footprint, limited selection, simpler display, and mostly private label to achieve a lower price point is spot on. The endless rows and selection used to amaze the Soviets. But it's been taken too far, creating choice paralysis, wasting time, and driving up costs. Just wish Aldi was publicly traded.
