Donald Trump ran for office for three reasons: 1) stay out of jail 2) exact revenge on his enemies 3) line his pockets Everything else he says is bullshit.

Holy sh*t. Thomas Massie says he’s going to start publicly naming billionaires implicated in the Epstein files because Trump’s DOJ refuses to convict. More courage than the rest of the GOP has combined.

Thomas Massie says he plans to publicly read the names of Epstein clients before leaving Congress. If he follows through, Washington is about to enter full panic mode.

People here love to shout how Colbert "lost $40M a year," but ignore the millions in advertising revenue + the free advertising for Paramount titles and properties via guest interviews. Colbert was the face of the corporation. It's not as simple as the stat you keep repeating.

Spencer Pratt is an elite. Fool blew his $10 million fortune on wine, crystals and partying. He’s a proven liar. Said he was living in a trailer when in fact, he staying in a $1500-a-night hotel in one of the richest parts of LA flanked by personal armed security. While it’s terrible that he lost his house in the fire, he didn’t have homeowners insurance and admitted he was house poor. Thinking it’s a terrible idea to put a political novice who cannot manage his own personal finances in charge of a complex city with a $15 billion budget isn’t “sneering elitism” — it is called common sense.
Phineas Fahrquar@irishspy

This kind of sneering elitism is exactly how you get Trump. Or Pratt.

WOW. Fetterman was confronted in a grocery store by a breast cancer survivor who lost her health insurance because of Trump, and he’s unable to even understand her or speak in response. What a disaster this guy turned out to be.
The Tennessee Holler@TheTNHoller

FETTERMAN CONFRONTED: “I’m a breast cancer survivor, I had a double mastectomy, and the Trump administration took my health care away… And you’re standing with him.” Fetterman can barely talk. Painful to watch as usual.

@RobertMSterling Well stated. Unlike a George Carlin, he simply became a funny partisan Democrat. Even when Ds were at their worst, and open to funny jokes, he remained a dedicated partisan. It stopped being funny and was just an editorial

The tragedy of Stephen Colbert is that he really is a brilliant comedic talent and—according to those who know him in real life—a kind and thoroughly decent man. He could have maintained his liberal political beliefs while ring-fencing them from the Late Show and no one would have cared. Instead, though, he sold out, electing to become little more than a regime-media court jester, a funny man’s Rachel Maddow. He chose pandering to an actuarially decaying audience of geriatric shitlibs over remaining funny to a broad and politically inclusive audience, and he ultimately paid the price through declining relevance, reduced ratings. and decimated advertising revenue. It would be tragic, if it weren’t so completely well deserved.

True story, I once had an infection on my foot that required hospitalization. The nurses who took care of me were all Nigerian immigrant women, and they were the sweetest souls I've ever met. Immigrants are not the problem with America, billionaires who don't pay taxes are.

@NormOrnstein Huh? One introduced the president of the United States one day. The other posted a prominent nfl owner as a slave owner and wore socks depicting police as pigs.

I had no problem with people criticizing Kaepernick or Dart. But one was blackballed and had his career destroyed. The other has been criticized on social media and will go back to being the starting quarterback of the New York Giants. Not comparable.
Jake Hurricane@BigJakeCLE

Jaxson Dart introducing Trump and Kaepernick kneeling were both people exercising their First Amendment rights. You don’t have to agree with either, but if you support one and condemn the other because of politics, that’s blind party loyalty.
