Happy #NationalSmallBusinessWeek! I was so happy to join @govdanmckee, @liztannerri, and @eastgreenwichchamber in #EastGreenwichRI for a small business tour. Small businesses make up 98% of all businesses here in Rhode Island. Our job is to ensure that have the tools they need.

My visit to Rhode Island was focused on the economy and defense - topics that I got to highlight in conversations with Governor Daniel McKee, Secretary of Commerce Liz Tanner and senator Sheldon Whitehouse. Of course, the state’s Romanian community was a highlight of my visit.
