Looking forward to next week! This appears to be a new volume cycle, not connected to bond 144A stuff in mid April (if that is actually what that first move was). I typically look for volume to last ~11 trading days. If that was day one, that is amazing. Options settlement Monday into Tuesday Pre-Market. Good chance Proxy materials come out Monday or Tuesday. RECAPS at Market Close Wednesday. RECAPS Settlement Thursday. RECAPS T+1 Friday Pre-Market. Notable because price hasn't been this high for a very long time which I think matters for RECAPS to do anything. Way over Max pain for the next few weeks. So people will probably be hedging, trying to roll up and out, etc. That could produce upside pressure. And if non-formal offer details do get released by the company in the next two weeks, that could produce even more excitement. Let's go! Disclaimer: I have over 35,000 shares in covered calls expiring 5/8 at 25.5c 26c and 30c that I hope get assigned. I am bullish!

I hate to say that this $EBAY deal is starting to look worse and worse, and could just be an excuse to dilute GameStop shareholders. There’s 20 or 30 different companies that would be a much better acquisition for GameStop at these levels without a huge dilution occurring. $BBY Best Buy is one of them. Everybody seems to be under the impression that eBay is just gonna let Ryan Cohen walk in and take over the Board of Directors 🤣 I guarantee you eBay has special protections in place to prevent hostile takeovers …
