Hating the heat? There is good agreement on cooler and showery conditions moving in next week Phew If we are to see heat return in June, it'll be in the second half of the month

@gunnerdaz1550 Next week is the first week of June. The cooler conditions begin on Tuesday 2nd June. The temps you suggest are right of inland and east. But if we include the sw and coastal areas then the max temp range will be 17-22c

As expected, there were no storms across southern England overnight Unfortunately there is nothing wet at all in the forecast for the rest of the month Just too warm and too dry We do have instability aloft on several days but convective inhibitors look too strong

Any chance of storms tonight have faded Just some drizzle or light rain moving east across the south tonight into Saturday morning In terms of temps, Monday still looks the peak with maxes into low 30's quite widely inland & one or 2 locations hitting 30c over the weekend too

@ScarlettHODL Thanks Scarlett. Still a little uncertainty for 1st week June. It will still be warm or very warm (depending on location) to begin the month. But looks around a 50% chance of less warm and showery conditions arriving for a while later in the week. But not a done deal yet

Looks like some inland parts of the east will reach high 20's Friday ➡️ Wednesday Not a bad call from 17th April Mostly dry but watching a small chance of thunderstorms on Friday eve/night Unfortunately, as usual, with the increased temps comes increased humidity booo 😰

Should add that away from those highest temps mentioned below, it'll be widely low to mid 20's across southern England as a whole And a low chance of reaching as high as 30c in the London area on bank holiday monday
