Short, medium & long range forecasts for southern England. No hype, no like/rt bait. Snow watch Nov➡March, weather all year round. I'm the sensible one

Regarding the very end of March into early April It seems quite likely that a plunge of cold arctic air will drop into mainland Europe bringing some below average temps and some snow there is no evidence to suggest this will include the UK But we could end up cold & mostly dry

And it's not just one day of sunshine In my location, I expect to see the sun each day from Tuesday into next weekend Happy days ☀️ ⛅

With wall to wall blue skies across the whole of southern England on Wednesday, it'll certainly feel like spring ☀️ And whilst mid to high teens is still the expected temperature range for majority of locations, the London area may see the first 20 or 21c of the year

I know it's a bit rubbish today into tomorrow ☔ 🎐 But the outlook is actually pretty good After some showers on Sunday, next week looks largely dry and pleasant And it looks like warming up too from mid next week, with max temps reaching mid to high teens inland ☀️ ⛅ 🎉

From today, roughly speaking, models are now initialised with the ssw This may lead to some fickle model output as they toy with what impacts, if any, this has on our weather later in March & maybe early April A large array of options on the table so we'll wait and see...

Can already see squall line along the cold front way up north in the Newcastle area I'm expecting that cold front (squall) to hit here between 12-1am bringing a brief spell of enhanced wind gusts & very heavy rainfall. The wind gusts might actually be most enhanced ahead of it

@LondonSnowWatch They're pretty strong gusts here already 😬
