I always joke around with myself that if I ever ran for governor of Wisconsin against Tony Evers. I could make some pretty hilarious mottos.
- “We’ve had Ever’s for Eva, time for A long- for a long time.”
-“Let’s make Long Lasting Policy”
-“Long at last a hero is here”
-“We can do things the easy way, or the Long way” (I use this one on my ….. well)
In all seriousness, credit card companies are taking advantage of people. Not just specifically them, but when it comes to money being loaned out it’s a grey area. Which is understandable because it is ultimately needed to keep everything afloat.
However, my governor solution is for the state to begin buying back it’s citizens debts, consolidating all their other forms of debt, and then capping it at 3% to give sour citizens some room to breathe.
Obviously this is a rough estimate and I would need to sit down with a few more professionals that want to improve conditions. However, collecting the interest would help the state with some extra income which we could use to jumpstart a new couples first time home buyer program.
Potentially we could upgrade the plan to try to get married residents a down payment for an investment property.
In which if they states value is increases. So if that life long investment.
