I have a little bit of MSTR. I actually think the new strategy is more optimal than prior. However, how we got to this point and how the dialogue is going is no productive. Any levelheaded bipartisan objective discussion is gone as a relates to Strategy on X. Late 2024 it was about parsing through SEC filings and bouncing ideas around of what’s next. Mining some signal Today it’s 99% hyperbolic one directional voices creating noise in both directions.

If he dumped, it’ll cause a massive dip that will wash out all the pleb ding dongs who are overallocated and have no cash flow or means to live or who are irresponsibility levered. Then over the following 24-48 months, Blackrock, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, etc. who only have their clients 1 to 5% allocated into the asset will rebalance and not only take Saylor’s coins, but take all the washed out pleb coins since they will be living in a cardboard box, with PTSD, DCAing $11 into VT shares with their weekly paychecks until death.

Then we should remove all the fat of the network required to secure those (non) users cold storage UTXO state. We should also let Andy Jassy and Satya Nadella know that they are wasting all that security budget on protecting the data states on AWS and Azure. All they needs to do is secure file transfer since those are the only true users. Though removing that mass of state security in bitcoin or centralized cloud instances might implode the value of the transfer/spend use too.

This is a result of @saylor speaks so forcefully and then pivots. Not an excuse for @PBDsPodcast being a sensationalist and not think critically, but Saylor and @phongle really need to start being less hyperbolic and more measured. Start acting like big boys. Chill out on STRC being the most important product in human history speak. Everyone outside the @Strategy drum circle shakes their head at it. They don’t necessarily dismiss the company, but it is nonserious talk. I thought farm coming more into the spotlight would start a bridge. The gap but it’s drifting away. Maybe a result of STRC being a mainly retail product who knows. The reality here is that MSTR’s pivot was a massive step in the right direction and it’s lost in the parsing against Saylor the comic book character and everything he’s been so forcefully saying and doing the last 18 months. I guess we can just assume that we will get a biennial road to Damascus from @saylor (Altcoins, self custody, BTC 😅……).

Truly. It’s not even about the approach which I heard people like you and @LuckyMrRai make logical points on months ago (sell BTC, gate lots by pref, sell derivatives, etc). . It’s about the path to get here and the pro Saylor mafia narrative along the way. It is truly toxic, and this comes from someone who owns MSTR. Objectively, this whole MSTR thing is much less prolific and historic for humankind than everyone makes it out to be. It’s like there’s a little campfire called MSTR some charlatans are dancing around making noise while the volcano of AI is erupting behind them.
