Mahomes overcame the errors. That doesn’t even touch the Dee Ford call, which literally kept the Chiefs out of another Super Bowl

Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen both debuted in 2018. Mahomes was the MVP, while Allen struggled as a rookie. Since that season, Allen has been the more valuable player, nearly matching Mahomes in pass efficiency, while crushing it on the ground. This is the modern day Brady vs Manning. In big moments, you still have to take Mahomes. But play to play? Allen is better.
