I was going back through the latest FOIA dump and found these. This is John’s hat, but the taillight pieces were also found at ground level just like this. I don’t remember seeing these during the trial. It makes it clear just how far down they had to dig to get to everything. No way anything was planted.

The wind was blowing so hard CPD couldn't even tape off the scene. The blizzard started in earnest at 8:20 AM, and CPD still didn't know John was hit by a car.

He said in T2 that they couldn't get John's shirt off because his arms were stiff from the cold. Nuttall didn't himself remove the clothes because he was venting John.

It took awhile for the order to go thru the chain of command. Just FYI, only SERT conducted the search, & not all of them arrived at 4:58 (1 not at all).

O'Hara even testified that there were "people there he didn't recognize" everyone was bundled up. Why did Tully make SERT wait? They arrived at 4:58. Why weren't they allowed to start immediately

They're not mind readers. In the meantime, Karen and her family took the murder weapon and drove it 30 miles away in a blizzard.
