Given Queen Elizabeth chose not to reveal her medical condition - and her death certificate recorded the cause as “old age” - it’s highly unlikely she gave Boris Johnson permission to reveal in his book, two years later, that she had, in fact, been diagnosed with bone cancer.

Boris Johnson’s memory of his private conversation with the late Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral, two days before she died, (“she was surprised by my lack of general bitterness”) appears to be at odds with the speech he gave in Downing Street that same day. Perhaps the Queen, in her dying days, had missed how he was dragged out of Downing Street only after mass ministerial resignations.

Hilarious sadly I’m once again trying to get any sort of customer services out of @askesure Esure insurance. Simply the worst. After messing up my policy and me spending six months trying to get them to sort it I now have to chase them to get them to send proof of no claims
