So why bring this up now? Well, because my skates aren't going to focus on being the quietest, and they aren't (they're not loud either). I thought I'd try to demonstrate why that wasn't a priority, which also allows you to decide if that's important to you.

@byMidoriGroup @cOoLm0Dz Will it have the usb extension cable again? Possible to make the cable itself like 5-10cm longer without signal loss? I have the 1st gen and it works flawlessly when plugged in directly, when using the ext cord it disconnects every 3-5 seconds on movement.

@spinelessaisha There are no true Discord "replacements", that's the reality. The market isn't big. Everything else is either still in its early stages or has simply been abandoned/discontinued, for example Guilded/Skype. We know what we need to work on, but with a small team, it takes time :(

@HardwareUnboxed I think the main thing causing it is AGESA versions. So check what version you are on the mobo. Some AGESA versions gives way to high wattage under stress test.

Is this some CPUs died out of millions sold or is it more than that? I bought a 9800X3D to kill on an Asrock board about 6 months ago now, still trying to kill it, I've tried 3 boards and every BIOS. I've recorded most of it so we might make a video at some point. I've also been speaking with retailers and distributors and none of them are reporting a high failure rate for these CPUs, basically they tell me everything looks normal, if anything fewer than expected are returned for warranty issues. Anyway I'll keep trying to kill my retail 9800X3D...

so i switched to apex and for whatever reason i can feel the refresh rate dropping sometimes, my frametimes are perfect and not dipping but i can def feel it. it might be the cable and i ordered one earlier anyway but idk it wasn't happening in kvks at 720hz

@lowkeydbjosh @hexclad Misen Carbon Nonstick, truly goated pan and really easy to use. Its coating free so no need to worry about it wearing down, but it still handles *almost* as a nonstick pan, way easier than most carbon and stainless steel pans
