So the options for Tomestone are: (1) Do nothing. Leave it the way it is now. (2) Hide the prog point by default but let people opt in to bringing it back on their cards. (3) Do (2), but also make activity be opt in by default as well, i.e., just cut off all information so that a Dalamud plug-in or other Web site can't rebuild the prog point from activity. (4) Enhance the prog point in ways yet tbd (e.g., switch to fight duration? last mechanic while alive? additional consistency checks?)

Eh. You have to take into account that people want gear for the last two turns. Not everyone is doing splits and wants to struggle prog because they aren't doing week one. Also taking into consideration the lower player count. It's not just "the fight broke people" it's also a degree of people don't want to run into a wall. Watch the numbers go up when the ultimate is finally actually announced. In 8.0
