If you think about exclusives you would be crazy to think that Sony and Xnox actually paid a lot of money to keep third party games off of each other consoles as a business model. Big money too. To say exclusives do not matter and are obsolete only for Xbox and it’s literally the only thing in any kind of media that does that is absurd. Keep getting mad to that I point out the very obvious and curse at me too for holding this extremely strong position backed up by all kinds of data. The strongest data is down 7% overall YOY and this. The green was the last time Xbox had exclusives. Down a combined 253% the next 9 quarters lol

Bringing exclusives back, and making it KNOWN that they're back, would fix at least one of these metrics overnight. The rest would take one or two years of consistency but eventually will pay dividends. It's true and you know it.

@DFilms92 @GoodGameKofi They wasn’t far behind because of ps5 stock levels not because they were even in hype or wants level. Once stock levels were fixed ps5 crushed the series consoles. Xbox new console being 1k or more will do worse even if they go back to exclusivity.

@LordMojo0618 @GoodGameKofi At the launch of the generation, this statement isn't true. Xbox wasn't far behind PS5 in sales the first 2 years they launched. Xbox's main issue has always been they cant CONSISTENTLY deliver good exclusive 1st party games. Starfield and Halo Infinite were misfires.

@GoodGameKofi Its not about the sales its about is the money worth to continue to go where the gamers are or use them to elevate your ecosystem to get them in the door. Resident Evil Requiem made more money for Playstation then all of them games besides forza.
