🚨EXCLUSIVE🚨 Labour is considering sending HMS Prince of Wales to New York to mark Independence Day despite Donald Trump’s insults about the ship. The US president dismissed both of the UK two Elizabeth-class aircraft carriers as “old and broken down” and calling them “toys”. It’s understood the UK government has been in discussion with the Navy for months over whether Britain should send one of its warships to the Big Apple on July 4. These discussions are still going on and no firm decision has been made. Yesterday I tried Coke + salted peanuts. It was surprisingly good, salty-sweet fizzy magic!
Someone suggested trying it with Dr. Pepper and grape soda too, so I just tried it.
Official verdict: Grape soda + peanuts is my new favorite. It tastes exactly like a liquid peanut butter and jelly sandwich. So good I’m declaring it the winner.

Have you ever heard of salted peanuts in Coke? This Japanese guy just introduced me to this Southern tradition. I’m in Southern Florida and I’ve never heard of it. I looked it up and it’s a real thing from the 1920s among Southern farmers and workers for a quick sweet-salty snack. Did you guys know this? As some of you may know, whenever I see something crazy or cool on X, I have to try it right away. So I grabbed some Coke and peanuts and my kids and I just did a taste test. It was actually really good! You should try it.

30年前くらいに村上春樹のエッセイで、アメリカではコーラにピーナッツを入れて飲むのがポピュラーだと書いてあった。「ふぅん」と思ってから長い時間が経ったが、ついにやってみた。 何だこれバカ美味いんでやんの。 これ以外でもうコーラ飲みたくなくなるレベル。
