I don’t know what’s going on with the last week of @openclaw releases. The feature direction is genuinely exciting, but the base keeps shifting so fast that every release I tested hit a different foundational break. - v2026.4.27: local memory/search broke because the managed runtime deps did not retain/resolve node-llama-cpp. -v2026.4.29: that class looked fixed, but Discord/Telegram failed on startup because packaged plugin runtime deps missed json5. Repair attempts were not durable. -v2026.5.2: channels could be made healthy only after local patching, but native Codex/tool adoption hit a worse blocker: tools visible in catalog/runtime inspect were missing from tools.effective, so agents could not reliably use memory/wiki tools. These are not edge-case polish issues. They are “can the agent actually operate normally after upgrade?” issues. Right now testing the new features feels impossible. Stability first, then features. Back to v2026.4.26

Tampoco que nos vería transformarnos tantas veces, ni tan rápido. El producto, la mentalidad, las capacidades, la agilidad, y hasta el nombre con el que nos presentamos al mundo. Esta semana Freepik se ha convertido en @magnific Y aunque por fuera parece un cambio de nombre, de identidad, por dentro es algo mucho más grande: es la primera vez que todo lo que hemos estado construyendo durante años se ve, y se palpa. En busca de la metáfora perfecta, Freepik es como esa camisa que llevas años teniendo, a la que le tienes un cariño increíble, que te ha acompañado y guarda recuerdos especiales. Pero un día sales a la calle con ella puesta y piensas: "esto ya no representa lo que quiero ser, y siento que los demás también lo notan". Y duele un poco, porque la quieres. Pero te la sigues poniendo, hasta que ya es evidente, y sabes que no tiene sitio. Magnific es la camisa nueva. Hecha a medida. La que no solo te queda bien, sino que te hace sentir like a million dollars! y casi que nos convierte en fashion victims. Somos los mismos por dentro, algo irreconocibles por fuera. Listos y preparados para todo lo que venga. Y si me preguntais por qué ahora, la respuesta es sencilla: porque está cambiando quién hace las cosas. Durante más de un siglo, contar historias costaba millones. Hoy el presupuesto ya no es la ventaja, pero la mirada y el talento sí. Y eso está despertando a una generación de creativos que siempre tuvo la visión y nunca las herramientas. @cuenca lo llama la no-collar economy, la economía de los que no llevan corbata ni uniforme. En Magnific lo vemos cada día: gente que nunca había estado en el lado privilegiado, ya fuera por dinero, por contexto o por geografía, produciendo hoy cortometrajes, series y películas. Solos o en equipo. Sin pedir permiso a nadie. Pero de todo esto, lo que más me ha marcado de estos cuatro años es haber visto transformarse, a todos los niveles, a las personas que hacen Magnific y hacían Freepik posible. Gente redescubriéndose, aprendiendo, amplificando su talento. Encontrando versiones de sí mismas que no sabían que existían. Sobreviviendo juntos a semanas de locuras, a lanzamientos, eventos. Compartiendo risas, amistades, confianza. Algunos seguimos en esta aventura, otros no. Pero todos pasamos por aquí siendo más mejores de lo que entramos. Algunos dirán que es el Freepik feeling (los que saben, saben) La Sofía que entró aquí hace cuatro años no tenía ni idea de todo lo que aprendería, ni de lo cerca que iba a sentir todo lo que antes parecía imposible. ¿Y lo más bonito de todo? Que solo es el principio de algo magnifico

OpenClaw just shipped v2026.4.29 with 30+ changes. Here's what matters. NVIDIA models are now a first-class provider. API key onboarding, static catalog, picker support out of the box. Memory got a full people wiki. Person cards, relationship graphs, provenance reports, evidence drilldowns. Your agent can now remember who people are and where it learned it. Active-run steering is the default. You can redirect a running agent mid-task and it drains all pending steering messages at the next model boundary instead of one at a time. Active Memory now supports per-conversation filters. Allow or deny specific chat IDs so recall only fires where you want it. Subagents surface spawnedBy metadata so clients can route child sessions without extra lookups. Commitments are opt-in. Agents can extract follow-up tasks from conversations and deliver reminders on heartbeat intervals with per-agent and per-channel scoping. Security got OpenGrep scanning, tighter exec/pairing/owner-scope handling, and tool sections no longer implicitly widen restrictive profiles.
