@Louis_MuirCGD @AndyBurnhamGM I got my car ten years ago second hand it cost £400. Insurance is about £10 a month. MOT plus repairs is no more than £200 each year. Tax a few pounds. It is still soooooo much cheaper to drive a car than go on a bus. And quicker.

@streethawk0 @AndyBurnhamGM As a driver I agree it's hard to pick the bus, and same with trains and their price for a group, but also bear in mind the cost of all the driving lessons, buying a car, insurance, MOT, any failures etc. If you don't travel far or often, it is absolutely cheaper to bus around

This is why it is cheaper to drive than get a bus. 4 people go to town and back will cost £16. Cost to take all 4 in a car to town (about 10 miles) will cost about £2 in fuel. Plus no hanging about or getting stabbed. Plus if you have to go to a few places that say a car makes even more sense. It is why we should get rid of busses. Especially those that travel around at night with no passengers just kicking out pollution.
