Captain is going to be very tricky pick in GW29 ✅ 1. Haaland : always in contention but even if he starts i think he'll get reduced minutes 2. Ekitike : Looks like the standout option but wolves have improved massively conceding just 3 in the last 4GWs 3. Thiago : First game of the week, Bournemouth have conceded just 1 goal a game at home 4. Bruno : Probably the best option after ekitike but you can never bank on Newcastle being consistently bad at defending 5. Semenyo : He looks like a far better city attacker than Haaland since joining man city

@JakeTalksFutbol I have nothing against him, I just think for now he's best as an impact sub for when those pop shots are needed late on. we have players like rutter who offer so much more in the build up and can create much better opportunities.

@JakeTalksFutbol I disagree, his hold up play was good, but he often slowed attacks down and didn't create any clear-cut chances. I get he's just getting minutes, but he's not scored since city in 22/23 season. Whilst taking more shots p/90 than most. his decision making should be questioned.

I thought Enciso looked really lovely today, yeah his finishing could have been better, but if he keeps playing like this a goal will clearly come, he deserves to keep playing more minutes! #BHAFC

@JakeTalksFutbol he missed 2 sitters, sent 2 shots nearly for a throw-in and passed the ball off the pitch about 3 times when on the break within 45 minutes. he was lucky not to be taken off for rutter sooner.

People will moan about Enciso shooting but whenever he doesn't it just gets passed around the edge of the box until someone fucks it up and it gets cleared. At least someone's not afraid to have a shot

@_Brightonian_ thing is we are 1 pt off 6th because of the talent we have brought in, most games we have been tactically over ran for the majority of the 90, bar Newcastle. we don't seem to have a rigid structure, which may be as we are only half way through the season, but we aren't improving

No excuses. Poor, lifeless. Hapless. Just an unacceptable performance. The team and Hűrz will get slaughtered on here tonight, and rightfully so. Everyone’s entitled to their opinions, and I understand all the criticism. But personally, as shocking as we’ve been, I’m not calling for the managers head whilst we’re 1pt off 6th in his first season in an elite league. People are entitled to, but for me I have always said I’ll judge him at the end of the season. But no mistake, our club needs to take a serious look at our defensive options. And that may have been an oversight in our summer spend. One final point on Enciso. Julio Enciso was our best player today. Showed a lot of heart and attacking endeavour. Played for the shirt. I do criticise management here for not making the most of his talent. He was brilliant when he came on. Makes it a bit of a joke he wasn’t even in our squad last week and hardly featured this season. #BHAFC
