@ShareBullsLove @JoeCowley If Crowley had confirmation that Michael Reinsdorf lied at a press conference, you’d never hear the end of it.

@RegionRat14 It is basic, which makes it very strange that fans assume a large front office staff is not aware of these things and taking them into consideration.

The White Sox burning a 40 man spot on Schweitzer for less than 2 innings pitched is gross roster mismanagement. This is basic stuff that Getz seems to fumble over and over again. And if davitt is good, it started his service time instead of letting smith pitch one more start
James Fox@JamesFox917

The #WhiteSox have optioned LHP Tyler Schweitzer back to @KnightsBaseball and 26-year-old RHP Duncan Davitt will join the big league club in Kansas City. Read about him on our just missed at @FutureSox here: futuresox.net/2026/03/30/fut…

@StephNoh @Doug_Thonus I get why NBA heads would want to believe this but I think the NBA is far from a meritocracy. Landing a Wemby at the top of the draft or even a Jokic or Draymond in the second round is far more the result of good fortune than being smart. Being the smartest GM doesn’t go so far.

I agree that all he has to do is hire the right person, but I don't think the job will sell itself to the very best candidates. This was illuminating. NBA is a zero sum environment. It's not good enough to have a smart GM when everyone else is smarter. They're putting themselves out of the running for that person. x.com/TheNBABase/sta…

People saying we can't win with Michael Reinsdorf at the helm are missing that he literally only has to hire the right guy. We know he will get out of the way. The job will sell itself even with the BD mess. There are only 30 of them and ownership is very patient.

Michael Reinsdorf basically discredited all journalists when he answered @Will_Gottlieb that it wasn't true that extensions were given to management. Not one journalist followed up by asking, "How was the rumor started?" Why?

@jthome21 I think the extra reliever is because they’re worried they can’t cover enough innings to get through games. The opener is bad in this regard because it tends to limit a reliever to one inning.

@ScamNetwon Maybe I’m more privileged than you. But that doesn’t change that it’s super privileged to be able to protect yourself by supporting the mass slaughter of Palestinian children, which is what you seem to be saying should have happened here. Again, Palestinians had no such option.

@ScamNetwon If you think I’m privileged because I would not support the genocide of Palestinians to protect Black Americans then what does that make Kamala Harris, who would not oppose genocide to protect Black Americans?

Fuck You, I’m from Texas
1. We don’t live in Israel, we didn’t kill anybody, and they got attacked first anyway. 2. Kamala Harris had nothing to do with any of that and no power to make any decisions regarding it. 3. It takes a special kind of selfish white person to think it’s OK to fuck over every minority and immigrant in the country to prove a point 4. It takes a special kind of privilege to sit here and criticize a black person who is pointing out that some of us are actually dealing with the real world consequences of your privilege.
Non-Arguer@LoverNotArguer

@ScamNetwon You didn’t answer my question. How is it privileged to care about the most vulnerable? Isn’t it privileged for a Black trans person to sacrifice the lives of children in Gaza for their own civil rights? Kids in Gaza can’t trade the civil rights of Americans for their lives.

@ScamNetwon The Dem leaders strike me as most privileged. Kamala Harris can choose to sacrifice everything you’ve mentioned out of loyalty to Israel, lose the election, and be a super wealthy person. What about her privilege?

So you’re going to sacrifice every black person, every immigrant and every transgender for 60,000 people in Gaza? Only to welcome in an administration that kills 10 times as many people in six months? If I was responsible for something like that, I guess I wouldn’t ever stop talking about Gaza either

@ScamNetwon @CrappyFumes I’d like an explanation for how refusing to tolerate genocide of oppressed Brown people in the Middle East is privileged and sacrificing them is not privileged. Seriously. Please elaborate.

I hope libs get that leftists didn’t refuse to vote for Kamala bc she had a weird laugh or whatever shit they heard on Seth Meyers- we didn’t vote for her bc she was enthusiastically backing a genocide, doubling down on her “iron clad” support of it, & some of us have principles.

@JamesFox917 @JRFegan First inning is very high leverage: It’s a tie game (at least if it’s the top of the first) and it’s the opposing team’s best hitters.

Reinsdorf on tanking: "That's just not who we are as an organization." "Sure, there are some fans who might say, lose games on purpose do whatever you can to hopefully win the lottery... but there are a lot of fans that go to the games who aren't there to see us get blown out"

@BillSimmons @BullsConf See, what I find cruel and immoral is your implication that the fans who won’t want to tune in or attend games if the team loses 60+ games indefinitely somehow don’t matter and their opinions and happiness should be ignored.

@SBN_Ricky The premise here is that some candidates are much better than others and it is easy to identify them, which is hilarious because everyone said the org chose the best candidate last time and then soon said he was the worst GM imaginable.

The Bulls won't get the best candidates for the job if they can't pick the coach. Starting this search by excluding anyone who won't stick with Billy is asinine. Mike Reinsdorf needs to hire a good GM, sign the checks, and stay out of the way. Horrible start to this GM search.

This is the worst possible answer he could have given. It's a perfect example of why the Bulls continue to be a hopeless franchise. Hire a good GM and let them pick the coach.
K.C. Johnson@KCJHoop

Reinsdorf:If we're interviewing someone and they're not sold on Billy and a Hall of Fame coach and person who has won championships in college and gone deep in playoffs in OKC and, given teams he was given, achieved good results in Chicago, then they're not right candidate for us
