To parents if the CHILDREN that thought it was a good idea to build a snoman around a cement pole, I’ve already contacted the police. My Eclipes is TOTALED! This wasn’t a harmless joke. It was dangerous and stupid, and it could have seriously hurt someone, not just wrecked a car. If I find out who did this, I am pressing charges. Someone just asked me to help them print something "real quick."= I walked over to their desk. They wanted to print a 340-page document. I asked why they need to print 340 pages. They said it's easier to read on paper. I asked if they've considered that 340 pages is an entire tree. They said they recycle. The printer started. I left. Twenty minutes later they submitted a ticket: printer is jammed. Of course it's jammed. They tried to print 340 pages on a printer that's designed for occasional use, not book manufacturing. I went back. Cleared the jam. Cancelled the print job. Told them to print in smaller batches if they absolutely must kill an entire forest. They asked if they should restart the print job now. I said no, give the printer a break. They submitted another ticket an hour later. Printer jammed again. They restarted the print job the second I left. Some people cannot be helped.

Pretty sure it was a mentally deranged dude.

They went from 5 to 20, in 2021, then dropped down to 10 the following year To put that into perspective, non trans suicides in young people (10-19) for 2021 was 201, and has risen each year, since. My 24-year-old friend has applied to 847 jobs in the last year. She’s been tracking it in a spreadsheet. She has a bachelor’s degree. A 3.8 GPA. Two internships. She’s gotten 12 interviews. Three rejection emails. The rest? Silence. “Entry-level” jobs require 3-5 years of experience.“Competitive salary” means $35k in a city where rent is $1,800. She’s living with her parents and working at Starbucks. Her degree cost $80,000. The system isn’t broken. It’s working exactly as designed. Just not for her.
