Can someone who has a Tesla please explain to me why my FSD does not maintain the speed I set it at? Or when I am going 45 in a 45 speed zone then the speed sign changes to 55 it does not go up in speed? Is it me or is it the FSD?

@BTCBreadMan @Litwitom You can set the speed on the Tesla. It is safe car, too. We have two. When our son turns 16 next year he is getting our ‘24 M3. Plus if you have the charger installed at home you can pay the 11.00 a month electric bill vs gas which obviously more.

So we found a Camry with leather seats for a decent price. But today my son learned that Teslas can drive themselves, so now he wants a Model Y instead. He was not swayed by the risk of battery fires. How can I convince him it’s a bad idea for a 16 year old to drive a Tesla?

@BTCBreadMan @Skoot Because the narrative to show EV fires fits the narrative of EVs are bad. There are more fires from gas cars than EVs. Just doesn’t fit the narrative to show gas cars up in flames.
