How do you feel @MthuliNcube if section of tax law (IMTT) is ruled illegal by courts. Do you celebrate knowing very well that it has ignited suffering inthe country? Can you just do the honourable thing by striking off the toxic section of tax or apologise & resign.Stop illegality

Chamisa is a grown man and must defend himself. However, we are obliged, by honour, to defend the space in which he operates because this is also the space in which we all exist. It is unacceptable for anyone, let alone a publication, to manufacture a story in order to besmirch a person’s name, subject him to scrutiny, and call his reputation into question. It is equally unacceptable for a publication to threaten to release evidence merely to keep its story relevant. If you have the evidence just release it. In any case, Nelson says he has said nothing negative about fellow democratic actors. That is the position that will detain us. Every sane person knows that CAB3 is to be resisted.

WHAT A THROWBACK!! The good old days when we used to watch Ezomgido as families during prime time! Back in time, before forced migration separated families, before broadcasting got replaced by hate and propaganda.

Dear @DailyNewsZim, Nelson Chamisa has publicly said that your story was misleading and manufactured. For the sake of clarity, credibility and closure, if the interview was recorded, as is now standard practice in journalism, then release the recording. Journalism and politics must both be anchored in honesty, accountability and transparency. Once a public figure disputes a report so strongly, the most professional thing to do is to produce the evidence and allow the public to judge for themselves. If the recording exists, releasing it will protect the integrity of your journalist, strengthen public trust and settle the matter factually rather than emotionally.

IGNORE THE MISCHIEF..,I have noted with deep concern the Daily News front-page story titled, “This engineered pact is hopeless,” which appears to allege that I have dismissed the efforts of others to advance the struggle for a better Zimbabwe in a manner they consider appropriate. Regrettably, the story is misleading, is a work of editorial fiction, and is intended to inflict injury. It is a fundamental principle of journalism that reporters should report the news, not manufacture it. When editorial standards are compromised in this way, public trust and our freedoms are put at risk. I remain fully committed to representing the interests of the citizens of Zimbabwe and to advancing the struggle for a better country. In due course, I will be rolling out a plan aimed at achieving that goal. Any attempts to distract us from this objective will not succeed. Thank you for your consideration of my take. A New Great Zimbabwe in our lifetime. The citizens shall govern!

@Old_Hararian @nelsonchamisa Efforts can never be fully and sufficiently appreciated in political contestations but results. Zim has 15 m people with great potential and a desire for change; but when the results aren't on the scoreboard, it's nothing! Every person has that unique ability to put in efforts

As jurists, both the appointed Chief Justice Gwaunza and Deputy Chief Justice Garwe are without equal. Chief Justice Gwaunza has long been a trailblazer and has represented the country in international tribunals with distinction. She is a worthy credit to the girl child and an inspiration to many. Deputy Chief Justice Garwe has been a leading jurisprudential thinker and has, in many significant respects, shaped the direction of our law. It is rare that I prepare heads of argument without citing at least one of his authorities. Both are truly deserving of the recognition they have received, and I wish them every success in their new roles.

• That establishes a moral architecture: authority flows downward from God → to the individual → to government (by consent). • Any system that reverses that flow (government → individual → God) becomes unstable over time.

CLARITY FOR 100 YEARS Why would President Trump - author of The Art of the Deal - bring this exact constellation of executives to meet with Xi Jinping at one of the most compressed geopolitical moments in modern history? Not just politicians. Not just diplomats. But the CEOs representing: • global banking • global payments • semiconductors • AI infrastructure • aerospace • food supply • tokenization • communications networks • custody • biotech • manufacturing • capital markets Because perhaps the real negotiation is larger than trade. Perhaps the old architecture itself is under negotiation. The post-1944 world was built on: centralized debt, military enforcement, petrodollar dependency, SWIFT control, and industrial-age financial rails. But a digital civilization requires something different: • real-time settlement • neutral interoperability • decentralized verification • tokenized value transfer • sovereign cooperation without surrendering sovereignty • transparent ledgers instead of opaque intermediaries • economic incentives aligned toward stability instead of perpetual conflict What if the real “deal” is not about China defeating America or America defeating China… …but preventing mutually assured financial destruction during the largest technological transition in human history? Because AI + quantum + tokenization + autonomous finance cannot scale on 1970s settlement rails. And if value itself becomes instant, global, programmable, and interoperable… then whoever helps architect the transition may shape the next 100 years. Maybe this is why payments giants, asset managers, chip manufacturers, aerospace leaders, and tokenization infrastructure firms all suddenly matter in the same room. Not because they represent separate industries. But because they collectively represent the operating system of the emerging world economy. A sovereignty-first system. A multipolar system. A digitally interconnected system. Potentially even a peace-through-prosperity system. Not a world without nations. A world where nations can transact without financial hostage-taking. Not centralization. Interoperability. Not conquest. Coordination. Not endless friction. Atomic settlement. And perhaps that is why the room matters more than the headlines. Godspeed, Mr. President. @realDonaldTrump

HE President @CyrilRamaphosa earlier today, undertook a working visit to the Republic of Zimbabwe for an engagement with his Zimbabwean counterpart, HE President Emmerson Mnangangwa, to discuss issues of mutual and bilateral interests. South Africa and Zimbabwe maintain a historical, political and dynamic trade relationship. In 2025, South African exports to Zimbabwe totaled about U$ 4.30 billion, with agricultural products and machinery dominating the majority of traded goods. #BetterAfricaBetterWorld 🌍

You know your people are so twisted the way you think kind of something like that which means to have less power and persuasion with what we owe them in our debt to try and get and what they want on top of it they're not dumping it in a fire sale from what I'm researching and seeing and the pretty much popular opinion is there's no problem selling it and they're making profits so I for one hope all these fucking piece of shit countries dump our debt because very shortly we are going to be the ones that are going to have the money to lend and it won't be to buy power over those countries it will be to help those countries get stronger and stay stubborn for their country and their citizens and be free of any manipulation of lent money for the sole purpose of control

This, a direct result of Trump’s tariff policy which is a study in ignorance and incompetence. “China is quietly executing a massive financial strike against the United States. In just one week, Beijing dumped a record-breaking amount of US Treasury bonds. For decades, China bought American debt, which helped keep the US economy running smoothly. But now, they are dumping it faster than ever before. This is a deliberate strategy to shield themselves from US sanctions and aggressively weaken the American dollar's dominance. If China continues this massive selloff, US borrowing costs will explode, triggering inflation and crushing American consumers. The financial Cold War has officially gone hot, and the battlefield is the global bond market.” How long can the US economy survive without foreign buyers for its debt? #LamaStories #WorldAffairs #Economy #Geopolitics — with Edward Johnson.

🔻 TRUMP DIDN’T JUST SAY HE’D PICK IRAN’S NEXT LEADER. HE ALREADY DID. While Iran’s Foreign Minister was on TV saying “it’s up to the Iranian people” — Trump was on a secure call with a single person: Ali Larijani. The former Speaker of Iran’s Parliament. A man the Deep State thought was their ally. A man who met with John Kerry 14 times. But Larijani’s son was executed by the regime in 2017. They called it a suicide. It was a message. For 9 years, he waited. For 9 years, he plotted. And for 9 years, he was Trump’s backchannel into the heart of the IRGC. When Trump said “I’ll pick the next leader” — he wasn’t making a threat. He was giving a signal. To Larijani. To the 12 generals loyal to him. To the 4,000 soldiers ready to defect. This isn’t a war to destroy Iran. It’s a coup to liberate it. And it’s happening now.

This is Phila Ndwandwe. In 1985, Phila was 🇿🇦 recruited into the ANC. She became an MK fighter. 3 years later, she was abducted in Swaziland by Apartheid police. She suffered unspeakable horror and was torturęd, in an effort to turn her into an informer. One always gets the sense that the fight against Apartheid was a masculine one. To a certain extent we can not fault people for thinking that it is only men, through the sacrifice of their bodies who liberated this country, because somehow history chooses to ignore the women who fought alongside glorified men. Phila Ndwandwe was breąstfeeding, when she was abducted (A makarov in one hand and a baby in the other). Aaah! Mbokodo! Her family was made to believe that she had eloped to Tanzania when the shaIIow grave of their child was a mere 10 kilometers from where they lived. Her d.eath and grave came to be known when her k.iller asked for amnesty for her brutal m.urder. Her k.illers testified before the TRC that she was repeatedly b.eaten and kept naked for 10 days until she made herself a pair of panties using a plastic bag. When they realized they weren't going to get the Commander to b.etray her comrades, her k.illers blindfolded her, took her to a veld and shot her in the s.kull. When her remains were unearthed, the bullet hole in her skuII was clearly visible, and her killęr testified that she had been s.hot while kneeling. Other articles have suggested that she was hit over the head and s.hot while unconscious. One of the men who m.urdered Phila described her as "Brave. Very brave. " let's celebrate Phila. Her selfless dedication to the emancipation of our people should not be undermined. It should not be forgotten! One can only hope that her targeted body is dancing free and light. This is Phila Ndwandwe- the woman who refused to betray her comrades.

@DMatemavi @nickmangwana @CatharineHoey How many of those who have been rejected by their constituencies are seeking to amend the Zimbabwe Constitution? Almost 99% of those in the forefront to bastardise the Constitution don't have any constituency mandate. Just look around starting with Nick! He doesn't have any.

To the extent that this is just @CatharineHoey acting as a proxy opposition activist against the Zimbabwean Government—a rabid dog bent on continuing to meddle in Zimbabwe's affairs—the sheer audacity of this nonsense is astounding. Britain does not have direct election of its Prime Minister, nor is His Majesty the King subject to any election. We take no notice of colonial nostalgia and attendant histrionics. #CAB3
