@framer_x Well, we'll see what remains in the end. I'm still struggling with my doodles.

For a long time people laughed at AI animation. Called it a gimmick. Said, “studios will never touch this.” But then Disney dropped $1B on OpenAI …and unlocked 200+ legendary characters for AI video creation. Here’s what this REALLY means for AI animation: 1. AI animation just became impossible to ignore. The biggest entertainment company on Earth doesn’t invest a billion dollars unless they were 100% sure the future of animation is already here. 2. Creators win - BIG. For the first time in history, solo artists and billion-dollar studios now share the same tools. 3. A new content era begins. Faster production, lower budgets, new jobs, and a massive demand for creators who understand AI workflows. 4. Sora just became the backbone of next-gen animation. You don’t license Mickey, Iron Man, and Yoda unless you think AI video is the future. 5. More studios will follow. This is a domino effect. Once one titan moves, the rest scramble not to fall behind. 6. Budgets will shift. Why spend millions on shots that AI can produce in hours? 7. Creativity becomes the differentiator, not the tools. Everyone will have access to the same tech - skill and vision will matter more than money. 8. IP-native AI content becomes a new industry. People will build entire series, channels, and brands around existing universes. 9. New jobs appear. “AI animator,” “AI pipeline director,” “prompt TD,” “AI storyboarder.” 10. Speed becomes the new superpower. What once took studios months will be done by AI creators in a weekend. 11. Audience expectations will shift overnight. High-quality animation from solo creators will feel normal. 12. The talent gap closes. If you can tell a story, you can now stand toe-to-toe with studios. 13. We’ve entered the post-permission era. You don’t need a studio to make studio-level animation anymore. This is validation on the highest level. You’re early. You’re in the right place. And the industry is waking up exactly the way we expected. 2026–27 is going to be wild. Stay sharp ⚔️

@framer_x You have the illusion of creating something, but that's not the case. You're describing steps to a machine that statistically chooses a visual solution for you. The funny thing is, you think you're smart and creative.

@framer_x The overall quality is already declining significantly. Disney is already churning out mediocre and forgettable products. There's nothing intelligent about this process; only the term "artificial" remains. These works you're talking about won't exist; they wouldn't make sense.

@framer_x You're describing the death of an entire industry. Who will consume all this crap produced by AI services? How many hours can a human being spend in front of screens before becoming saturated? The content is already overflowing into this immense cesspool that is social media.

One day I'm going to put this mech from Arksync into a 3d game, and then I'm going to program it to kick all our asses.

Primo 1.7 is out.  Adds a two-point line with quick pipe options. There is also an absolute twist (i.e. twist per meter).  Primo is an absolute must buy for Modo imo. stevehill3d.gumroad.com/l/Primo

@TheFoundryTeam The only bright spot in this story is that I will no longer give my money to you guys at Foundry. Modo is still, despite everything, an amazing software, make it Opensource.

1) My recent, extreme retro art - Universal One IV. In fact, it's a program that runs on 8 bit Atari and displays that image. It's not a regular pixel art because it would be impossible to display such colorful image on 8 bit machines. Read more below. #8bitart #demoscene #8bit

@The3DNinja I don't think I will ever renew my subscription with Adobe again. You are hypocrites and you are building tools that do not enhance creativity, but humiliate it. Really good work, congratulations (sarcastic)

@mikegarndesign It reminds me a lot of "Turrican" (I had it for C64 and then for Amiga 500), I hope to have time to play it! :) Great job!
