It is Congress moral duty to terminate the territorial-colonial arrangment that has kept US citizens in a legacy imperial apartheid condition.... that must come to an end... where are the ‘Champions of Liberty’ or ‘Champions of Civil Rights’ ? #EndColonialism

This is not a normal statement from a normal cabinet member of a major nation.  This statement from Israeli National Security Minister Ben-Gvir is the statement of a war criminal.  The racist, extremist Israeli government does not deserve one nickel of U.S. support.

🚢 4 empty Qatari LNG carriers just sailed back into the Gulf through Hormuz. That convoy says more than any ceasefire statement. Kpler tracking shows QatarEnergy moving 4 vessels westbound through the strait on Monday in ballast, repositioning to load and resume exports: the 174,000-cbm Wadi Al Sail, the 267,335-cbm Mekaines, the 210,100-cbm Al Sadd, and the 216,200-cbm Mesaimeer, with 3 running close together on the northerly route. Empty carriers heading toward the loading terminals is the cleanest de-escalation signal in the market. You don't send the world's largest LNG fleet back into a chokepoint you expect to close. Qatar is voting with its tankers, and the vote is that Hormuz stays open. While headlines argue about whether the strait is shut, the physical fleet is already moving as if it isn't. Cargo manifests don't do theatre. Watching for the first laden carrier back out through the strait. If these four load and exit cleanly, the Hormuz risk premium has further to unwind.

Reporter: Some members of the Jewish community, including Democratic Congressman Josh Gottheimer, were alarmed by the language you used at the rally last week, calling AIPAC monsters who move dark money. Mamdani: I want to be very clear. We’re talking about a status quo where children are being killed on a daily basis. More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli military since the so-called ceasefire. Even an Al Jazeera journalist, Ahmed Wishah, was killed this past Saturday by an Israeli strike. And when I am speaking about AIPAC, I’m speaking about an organization that has been supportive of the status quo, that has fought any attempt to actually deliver safety to people not just in Palestine but, frankly, throughout much of the region. And it is a status quo of immorality. It is one that I will not accept. And when it comes to the way in which they defend the status quo, oftentimes they defend it through direct contributions, as we are seeing right now in New York 13. Oftentimes they also support the status quo through dark money, by funneling money that would have previously come directly from AIPAC through other organizations whose contributors’ identities are only made clear after an election. And I think it is important that when we ask ourselves how such death and destruction is happening overseas, we also name those who allow it to take place.

I note the @iaeaorg has not yet put out a statement on the Vance statement on inspectors returning. Despite that, I am confident we are about to forge a new chapter of one of the great Cat and Mouse games in history between Tehran and Vienna. Something like this…-1-

Alan Greenspan bade us farewell today. A man who was celebrated as the central bankers' central banker based on the conviction that markets are divine and volatility is a virtue. His epitaph? A singular, glorious confession: “I found a flaw in my model of the world.” A flaw, he said, as though it were a leaky pipe, not a total collapse of the intellectual architecture that anointed him Oracle. For decades, he preached that the self-interest of the predator was the invisible hand of the common good. Then, in 2008, the beast devoured the table, and to his credit he blinked, admitting that his entire worldview—the one that central bankers canonized and the world swallowed—was a fairy tale for rentiers. He did not, of course, admit to culpability. That would require a moral compass, a device notably absent from his Ayn Randian toolbelt. No, he merely noted the flaw, as a meteorologist might note a gust of wind, and returned to his well-earned silence. So farewell, Maestro. You helped erect a broken global casino economy, but at least you had the decency to read the autopsy report aloud. Alas, countless millions are still paying for your asterisk. nytimes.com/2026/06/22/us/…

@WeaponScientist This is so unstable and prone to fall apart. Now that iran knows they can easily close the strait we are likely to see them do it whenever they want something. They are going to be demanding that money back without strings
