Every one and then my X algo starts to show me dumb click-bait content. I usually mark those post as “not interested” so it stops for a while. Anyone else having the same?

@levelsio @RappiBrasil I've been trying Rappi in Mexico and found their app has a lot of dark patterns, e.g., making you think the pro plan gives you free priority delivery while it costs more. Too fishy. I canceled the pro trial and am switching back to Uber Eats.

yeah enforcement is overdue but just saying attract high quality wont cut it. europe net lost skilled workers to the US last year per OECD while canada pulled 300k+ with points system. my dev buddy skipped berlin for dubai last month. how do you actually make europe competitive for them?

@wilderko I think you are missing the RESICO regime tax rates for Mexico. It should fall under the income tax category.

@JakeNomada I would replace Los Cabos with Cabos in the list. They have enough infrastructure, hospitals, and international schools, and Mérida is just 4 hours away.

When you're honest about Mexico 🇲🇽 for raising kids... Not just regurgitating the idiocracy you see about cartels on the news You've got maybe 6-8 cities that actually work Places with: - International schools that aren't terrible - Hospitals you'd trust with your child - Safety that won't keep you up at night - Infrastructure that functions → Monterrey/San Pedro 🇲🇽 → Mexico City 🇲🇽 → Guadalajara/Zapopan 🇲🇽 → Merida 🇲🇽 → Queretaro 🇲🇽 → San Miguel de Allende 🇲🇽 → Los Cabos 🇲🇽 Notice something? None of them are beach towns minus Los Cabos The YouTube gurus hyping up Playa del Carmen for families are either lying or don't have kids Beach life is incredible for 2-3 months a year But for school, healthcare, and long-term stability? You need a real city with real infrastructure The dual-base strategy is the only way: Main base in one of these cities (9 months) + summer beach house (3 months) That's how many wealthy Mexicans do it, and there's a damn good reason why

@AnthropicAI Voice Mode on Claude Mobile (iOS) is really slow and buggy. Would appreciate if you could fix it. In the meantime, it seems like people are better of with ChatGPT or even @grok for voice only chats

Meanwhile Japan, Korea, Germany, Netherlands & Scandinavia nail it: shoes off at the door for way cleaner homes. It’s objectively smarter hygiene-wise Why hasn’t the rest caught on? Habit? Laziness? Culture > common sense? 🤔

Just realized: In the US, Canada, Mexico + most of the world, people keep shoes on indoors. Tracking in dirt, bacteria & street grime like it’s no big deal.

Prof. Donald Knuth opened his new paper with "Shock! Shock!" Claude Opus 4.6 had just solved an open problem he'd been working on for weeks — a graph decomposition conjecture from The Art of Computer Programming. He named the paper "Claude's Cycles." 31 explorations. ~1 hour. Knuth read the output, wrote the formal proof, and closed with: "It seems I'll have to revise my opinions about generative AI one of these days." The man who wrote the bible of computer science just said that. In a paper named after an AI. Paper: cs.stanford.edu/~knuth/papers/…

Qwen3.5 Small models about to release! Qwen3.5 9B, 4B, 2B, 0.8B, or something in between is possible. - imagine 9B beating Qwen3-Next-80B - or 4B beating Qwen3-VL-30B in multimodal reasoning Buying a GPU is starting to have high return of intelligence on investment
