Please watch our new film. We funded it and made it for the community of Foxhill in Bath. It tells the story of a beautiful community who came together to fight the demolition of their homes and community. THEY WON!! vimeo.com/258621206

Yet another revised plan for Woolwich site. It's now nine years since Greenwich sold Riverside House rather than convert/redevelop the site for housing (which would have saved large sums on temp housing costs since). Many plans since. Nothing built. fromthemurkydepths.co.uk/2026/03/23/cha…

£35K SEX IMAGE BOMBSHELL! TEEN CLAIMS HE SPENT NIGHT IN HOTEL WITH HUW EDWARDS Former BBC newsreader Huw Edwards paid a teenage boy at least £35,000 for sexual images and videos over three years, contact began when he was just 17. Edwards then pressured him to meet in person and the pair spent the night together at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff when the boy was 19. The victim says he froze and pretended to sleep after Edwards tried touching him. Edwards received a suspended sentence last year after admitting making indecent images of children, including Category A pics of kids aged 7-9. The now-22-year-old has spoken out, how did he avoid jail?!?!

One of many examples of failed model of public private partnerships on public land. Woolwich DLR sites. Announced almost 17 years ago, Not a single brick ever laid. Still ugly eyesores in the heart of town.

The Mayor banging the drum for housing model that's failed time and again. Copley won't answer questions on why TfL sites eg Woolwich Arsenal DLR station vacant after 17 years with no progress. Labour talk a good game; no real interest in grasping nettle. Public land. No plans.
Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan@MayorofLondon

MIPIM is the largest property event in the world - the perfect opportunity to secure investment in London's housing projects. Our new City Hall Developer Investment Fund is making £1.5 billion available in very low-cost interest loans to build the affordable homes Londoners need.

But will it be built? TfL are still sitting on vacant land around Woolwich DLR station after 17 years. Yep, 17 long years. Nearby they saw approval to build above the eastern end of the Elizabeth line station in 2014. 12 years later and revision after revision = no start

🚨NEW: @MayorofLondon calls in planning application for 283 new homes next to High Barnet Tube Station. 🏘️If approved, the plans will turn the station’s car park into five tower blocks. 100 of the new homes will be affordable.

PRESS RELEASE: HIGH COURT GRANTS HISTORIC PERMISSION FOR @TMOFCharity The Maggie Oliver Foundation TO CHALLENGE GOVERNMENT ON FAILURE TO ACT ON CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION This morning the High Court granted permission for charity, The Maggie Oliver Foundation, to challenge the Government on its failure to implement the recommendations of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA). The judgement is a moment of profound significance for survivors of child sexual abuse and for every child in this country whose safety depends on the Government honouring its commitments to reform. The Court found that following promises from consecutive governments, over the last almost four years, to learn lessons from IICSA to drive improvement in the policy and legislation protecting children, there is a legitimate expectation for them to deliver the inquiry’s twenty recommendations. The judge specifically highlighted the continued permission of use of pain inducing restraint techniques on children, a practice described as amounting to torture by IICSA, as an area where the Government has not justified its failure to act. The case will now proceed to a full substantive hearing. Maggie Oliver (former Detective and founder of the Maggie Oliver Foundation) will say: “Today is a historic day, not just for the Foundation, but for every survivor who has testified, waited and hoped. And it is for every child now and in the future, and for everyone who believes the state’s primary duty is to protect its citizens, especially the most vulnerable. When governments make promises to act and then walk away, children pay the price. Today the court has said, those promises matter.”

Far, far from sufficient given the shortage in London. Barely a dent on households in temporary housing let alone waiting lists. More billions in turn will keep flowing to private landlords as a result like Azif Aziz currently in the news

When she was in government, Angela Rayner gave the go-ahead for the Marks and Spencer Art Deco building on Oxford Street, London to be demolished & turned into a characterless rebuild. Elegant buildings like this should be adapted, not destroyed. We are aesthetically regressing.

40% rise in UK supermarket food prices since 2020. It’s breaking people. Food is becoming unaffordable for so many people. And the supermarkets show record profits and pay farmers pittance for their food. They are fleecing farmers at the purchase and consumers at the sale.

BREAKING NEWS; Safe London? You make your own minds up; Here are some of the Crimes that may help you make your minds up that have happened in past couple of weeks👇🤷‍♂️ 19yr Man Stabbed to death Peckham; 33yr Man Stabbed to death Camden 25yr Man Stabbed to death Brent 22yr Man Stabbed to death Croydon 21yr Man Stabbed Fights for life Croydon 21yr Man Stabbed Injured Croydon 12yr Child stabbed at school in Kingsbury 13yr Child stabbed at school in Kingsbury Both remain in hospital in serious condition; 16yr Child stabbed on a bus in Harrow; Raid on high end jewellers Knightsbridge Raid on high end jewellers Shepherds Bush Raid on high end jewellers Richmond When Knife crime for example reduces its often from historic highs & still leaves Tens of Thousands of victims often maimed injured scarred; Stop & Search has reduced from 1.5 Million in 2009 to just 500,000 a year or so ago; There are 4,000 gangs Nationally 200 in London they number 15/25 members on average most if not all will carry a knife ie fir revenge attacks to commit crime or to defend their turf; some of these gangs can also get access to firearms; either hired or borrowed from the criminal underworld; these gangs also involved in county line drug offences; This of course means that thousands of those carrying knives won’t be stopped so of course can’t be included in statistics; IF police carried out constant mass S&S’s I believe Knife Crime Stats could easily be DOUBLE what they currently are; Murders have been reduced; what has gone some way to achieving this & saving many lives are highly medically trained police officers normally 1st on scene; paramedics & the highly skilled surgeons often skilled in War Zone Injuries & advanced life saving treatments; Across London there are Many NO GO AREAS; ie where single/couples/families won’t want to live; or bring their children up in or tell their children not to visit or frequent; which in effect are to them NO GO AREAS; Many of these areas are controlled by feral gangs of youths as described above at paragraph 7; housing estates where in both daylight & more disconcerting at nightfall are akin to Assault on Precinct 13; Yes people living in large blocks of flats which are like blocks of prisons as people & in particular the elderly fear leaving their homes; Anti Social Behaviour is at an epidemic stage as is Shoplifting Street Robberies Phone & Car Thefts & as serious as it gets for women a Rape is reported in London EVERY HOUR; tho rape charities & rape help groups believe that the true figure could be as high as 4/6 times what has been reported to & recited by the police; Many women fear having g their drinks spiked in bars & locations across London & often avoid high crime areas again to THEM these are deemed NO GO AREAS; So? That’s my own OVERVIEW of London & the crimes committed in just the past two weeks & the types of crimes that terrify both the public & victims; Many of public NEVER see a police officer; Many victims won’t get police attendance unless it’s the one of the serious crimes that I’ve highlighted above in the first few paragraphs as most victims feel that they are no more than just a crime number; SO? Is London Lawless? is it Unsafe? Not every single area but too many areas! Who am I to give such an opinion & such an overview? Someone who has policed London for 31yrs is Britains lead Knife Campaigner an Independent spokesperson on policing (for 37yrs) & a Lead law & Order Campaigner & First Serving Police EVER to break from the ranks & WARN Britain what was coming to our streets! Wrote several times to the Queen attended No 10 Downing St with a Dozen families both Black & White bereaved by Knife Murders & Written to every MP when a serving officer of my concerns on crime & lawlessness! Plus for 37yrs I’ve undertaken 10,000 - 13,000 Media I/v’s across every section of London & National media outlets & advise public on the law; MY OPINION👇 LONDON IS A LAWLESS & UNSAFE PLACE🤷‍♂️
