@RalphLauren I reported one listing to eBay with supporting evidence, but the report was quickly dismissed (see attachment). This raises concerns about how counterfeit reports are being reviewed by ebay. Clearly eBay is prioritizing seller fees over taking action against counterfeit items.

@RalphLauren ebay.com/usr/fri4398 This eBay seller are selling counterfeit Ralph Lauren sweaters sourced from China. Identical items are listed on Taobao (Chinese version of ebay) for $20–$40, suggesting these were purchased in bulk and resold as authentic in the U.S.

@eBay Allowing fake items to remain on the platform harms both buyers and legitimate brands. I hope eBay strengthens its review process and enforcement. Ignoring this issue could lead to bigger problems down the line. I plan to write a letter to the brand (Ralph Lauren) about it.

Last month, we received a family gift of $260,000. We debated a lot and ultimately decided for a few reasons to drop it all on our 3.75% mortgage. Our mortgage went from $750k --> $490k We recognize we could have made much more investing, but it felt secure to take a little risk off the table. Mortgage calculator shows this will save us $285k in interest. We then recasted our mortgage and our payment dropped from ~$3,800 to ~$2,400. A little bit closer to freedom.

49 arrests, 687 phones, and a hotel full of Malaysian SIM cards Phnom Penh police raided the Jinbian Mendu Hotel in Sen Sok yesterday afternoon and arrested 49 people. The operation, carried out on orders from Phnom Penh Governor Khuong Sreng and Police Commissioner Chuon Narinth, seized 92 computers, 687 mobile phones, and a stash of Malaysian SIM cards. The group had reportedly just relocated from Tboung Khmum province and was running fake investment scams targeting victims in Malaysia. Suspects include Chinese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, and Myanmar nationals. One Cambodian woman was also detained. Police say they're now working to identify the ringleaders behind the operation.
