@BobBark11503563 Lots of speculation, I think. Maccelli has little to no value in the offseason considering he’s an RFA. So based on the speculation you’re presenting, I’d assume they re-sign him.

If you think Matthews is what he’s been the last couple of seasons, you probably need to trade him in the offseason. The target should be a potential No. 1 defenseman and a top-6 center. LA should be knocking at the door.

The Matthews situation is tricky. Are the last couple of years truly indicative of him, or does he still have a few more 50+ goal seasons left? That’s a question management needs to answer. I would have loved to see him under a different coach this year to help determine that.
