@WerwulfFan You dumb fuck. The Odyssey was actually filmed in Greece, and Troy was filmed in Mexico. Jesus Christ. The problem with dumb people is that they often don’t realize they’re dumb.
The Mediterranean Sea has some of the bluest and most beautiful water in the world, yet Nolan decided he wanted to Grey everything out.
What a joyless sack of shit.
Troy from 2004 gave us a visual feast.
@SmokaToka420@DCDemonCat Finally, a self-proclaimed, die-hard, logical MAGA supporter. Congratulations, you’re one of the few. I agree, the movie was amazing! There’s really no need to bring politics into it.
@s_k_maria The problem with dumb people is that they often don’t realize they’re dumb. Nolan’s The Odyssey shattered records in Greece, achieving the biggest advance ticket sales in the country’s history.
Nolan's Odyssey is not a movie. It's a political manifesto against Europe & its: men, women, beauty, achievements, excellence, ethnic identities, traditions, history, mythology, cultures, societies, civilization, family values, existence. Hollywood is at war with Europeans.
THE ODYSSEY has broken Avengers: Endgame’s record for the biggest advance ticket sales ever for a film in Greece.
A fitting milestone for a story that has been part of Greek culture for nearly 3,000 years.
@AntonioSabatoJr This level of stupidity is actually quite dangerous because it allows misinformation and poor judgment to influence public opinion and shape decisions that affect everyone.
The Odyssey is headed for disaster in its upcoming second week! The reviews are astronomically brutal, calling it a miserable failure and a disrespectful portrayal of Greek culture. It’s a shame to see such a beloved & monumental story treated like this!
@JoshReynolds24 🤣good one .it's not even close .it's sub par .you the type to stay on line for Bonnie Blue the rest of us think it's disgusting.thats you Josh
what you're implying is undisclosed ad work on such a massive scale that could potentially result in civil class action lawsuits costing Universal Pictures hundreds of millions of dollars, all so the newest film from Christopher Nolan (one of the most critically acclaimed, consistent and proven film makers of our time) can get some clout and glaze from random YouTubers, TikToker's and accounts on Twitter.
Or, the other option, you're just a dumbass. Probably that
I still can’t believe they didn’t cast a real Cyclops for The Odyssey role. When will Cyclopes finally get a break? This is some woke-ass bullshit. Boycott.
@LorenzoElijah Damn Christopher Nolan and his amazing film! I still can’t believe they didn’t cast a real Cyclops for the role. When will Cyclopes finally get a break? Unacceptable.
Just saw the Odyssey, and I am furious.
Everyone online promised me a woke slop fest about DEI Helen of Troy teaming up with transgender Achilles to piss on the grave of WESTERN CIVILISATION.
Instead I watched a masterpiece of cinema with touching performances, good pacing, and epic visuals.
WTF!?
Not a single Trump allusion; no ham-fisted climate change allegories; not even so much as a “yass Queen” from Telemachus.
1/5 stars.
@EricTropicalTX@cmclymer The budget was $375M, and the break-even point is estimated to be $625M–$750M. I’m not sure why people just make things up when the numbers are easily accessible.
@TalkeyHockey I like this roster for sure. These probably aren’t the lines I’d go with, though. I don’t think either Nashville or Calgary would make those trades.
I just watched Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. It wasn’t a movie. It was a $250 million cinematic crime against Homer the worst experience I’ve ever had at the cinema.
