Mainers do not vote out incumbents. The last time a Senator lost reelection here was 1978. To beat Collins, a candidate has to offer people something so profoundly different from what she represents that we become willing to abandon her seniority and constituent services.

If I thought Janet Mills had the best chance to beat Susan Collins, I would support her. But she doesn’t. ⬇️
