I'm assuming they added the "Vote Green" ribbon, because Zack Polanski, the One Jewish party leader our entire Press & UK Politicians are currently piling in on for Something something "Antisemitism" does not have a Big Hooky Nose.

A 10:1 pay ratio is too low, IMO. With the minimum wage set at ~£13, that gives an effective maximum hourly rate cap of ~£130 — much, much less than many skilled professionals charge for their services, and much, much less than you need to attract specialist, experienced talent in many, many sectors. BUT when we had lower pay ratios (under postwar social democracy) it wasn’t because of top-down legislation, but because of inbuilt structural mechanisms for bolstering workers’ bargaining power (i.e. powerful trade unions). Instead of pay ratios (which would invite all manner of insane avoidance/elite self-employment/boosted share option schemes), let’s have: 👉Nationwide sectoral collective bargaining 👉Worker representation on company boards Let’s boost productivity by incentivising investment in plant, machinery & automative technology over cheap, unorganised, casual labour.

Your Party bloc at the march yesterday. 20 branches came with banners, with 35 groups announcing attendance so far. Roughly around the same size as the Green Party bloc, despite having 1/4 the membership. People are saying this is a dead party — the branches are saying otherwise
