Why isn’t the #NottinghamInquiry all over the MSM? Everyone from Nottingham should be retweeting the posts of the families that have had to deal with the incompetence, lies and cover ups of authorities supposedly working to protect us. It’s too important to ignore.

‘As a mother’…. You use that statement relentlessly Celeste Calocane. As ‘Barney’s Mum’ I can’t stand to witness a moment more of you. I’ve heard all I needed to. To confirm my instincts from early on that there is so much more to this family than your sanitised version of you all. Where is the father???? This inquiry will NOT be complete until he has been heard. Why are you so fearful of him being seen and/or heard?? I’m so disgusted. #nottinghaminquiry 💚💛

Keir Starmer is an evil fucker. Join us on Saturday. He can’t ban you from protecting your own country. We are coming.
Don Keith@RealDonKeith

🚨Well, after visiting The United Kingdom 8 or 9 times in the last 2 years and participating in the very peaceful and patriotic Unite The Kingdom events with my good friend @TRobinsonNewEra I have now been denied entry into the country. I have never participated in any violence nor have I incited any violence. I have never been involved in any criminal activity in my life in Britain or any other country. The only thing I’ve ever done is associate with Tommy Robinson and speak up for the forgotten people of Great Britain — people who have been crushed and victimized by a tyrannical Leftist regime. So to President @realDonaldTrump and @VP JD Vance just know that when the soon to be ex Prime Minister Keir Starmer sat in the Oval Office and told you both Britain has free speech that he lied to your faces. My apologies to the great @danwootton. I was very much looking forward to hosting your live show at the UTK march.

I’ve read two articles in just one day on worrying levels of cancer in younger people. We have to start asking very serious questions about hormone disrupting chemicals and plastics in our environment. How many things do we bombard ourselves with that are totally unnecessary?

Day 4. Week 11. David Waldron, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Exchange between the above (responsible for safe and proper placement of patients within secure hospital facilities) and Sophie Cartwright KC. More evidence of appalling continuity of care and abysmal record taking. Apparently there were only 9 beds in total available for male patients like Calocane in the Trust. None available (shock!) so they put him in the Priory Arnold. Totally out of area, but more worryingly, a facility rated inadequate, that shortly after went into special measures. Earlier evidence given made it clear that there was ‘bolshy’ pressure from Cygnet Victoria House (his Section 3 facility) to get him out. And what did the Priory do? Released him two days early. Notifying no one. No checks on where he went or what care plan or risk assessment was in place. Oh, and he’d taken a large hammer in with him! That was barely referenced. Didn’t appear to cause much concern… Plus more evidence he had been driving. Before and after his sectioning. His car was parked at Highbury Hospital. Anyone raise concerns, care a jot or perhaps fulfil their obligation to notify the DVLA? Of course they didn’t! More policies and procedures ignored. More examples of poor and negligent practice. #nottinghaminquiry 💛💚

Day 3 of week 11. If you agree with my PoV below 🙏 share and tag @NHSNotts @gmcuk @rcpsych Dr Tunhina Lloyd. Consultant Psychiatrist with @NHSNotts in charge of Calocane, and senior member of the multi disciplinary team who discharged him into the wilderness in Sept 2022. Unchecked. Unsafe. Unaccounted for. Untreated. You MUST now be held to account. Properly and professionally for your negligence. #nottinghaminquiry 💛💚

Violent crime and mental health - lessons are not being learned open.substack.com/pub/almondtree… After losing my daughter in the circumstances I did, our country must and will be safer for all families. My meager help towards this goal for other families and ultimately our country is my life mission. No one must go through the pain my wife, my son, my extended family, friends and Grace’s colleagues, friends and their associated families have gone through. The stress, anxiety and trauma of the last four years is starting to take its toll on me mentally but now physically. When will it end???? I just want me and my family to be left alone. I did what I thought was right and professionally obliged to do. They have taken everything as a consequence. They continue to even now. Not sure what to do.

✍️OP-ED (all my own views. Feel free to share on that basis). “The NHS is grossly failing the mentally ill in our country. The terrible events of this week in Golders Green go far deeper than rogue individuals, extremism and anti-semitism. The narrative between this incident, Southport, and our tragedy in Nottingham in June 2023 is that they all happened because seriously mentally ill, violent and dangerous individuals were not managed or cared for and were allowed to roam our streets unchecked. The fear of stigmatising, perception of racial inequality and bias is overriding the need to keep the public safe. There are not enough specialist facilities, adequately trained and robustly managed staff, or effective assertive outreach teams. In the few examples where these are in place in this country, the rates of violence and loss of life are greatly reduced. So it can be done. The NHS Mental Health Trust in. Nottingham is a poorly managed and failing Trust. Despite the public outcry, media attention, and indeed the scrutiny of the statutory inquiry, they still refuse to provide details and evidence of the process and actions taken by them for the countless members of staff who so clearly were negligent in their roles. Today, we learnt for the first time of one member of staff who faced disciplinary action for his limited contact and care of Valdo Calocane. Just one man who retired prior to any hearings. Despite our continued requests for the past two years, we still have no idea of what took place internally or is now planned. Were it not for this Inquiry none of these appalling practices would have been made public. Do not think for one moment that this is the only Mental Health Trust in this country that is in this state. It’s endemic and systemic. And lessons have never been learned. Our government (and previous ones) are failing to act. Failing to recognise the broken public services in our health, our policing and our criminal justice system. They are chasing the horses rather than fixing the fences. We cannot, and must not, be a passive reactive state. Countless lives are being lost and families destroyed because of fear, poor decision making and inaction. I do not hold myself to be a learned professional, nor have all of the answers or solutions. However, as Barney’s Mum; witnessing first hand how broken and wrong the systems and services are, I do have a voice, and I want to try and use it. The government, and our media MUST look at what is unfolding every day here at the Nottingham Inquiry. Ensure it is reported, listened to, and transparently and honestly done; not used for political point scoring or electoral gain. Be proactive and brave enough to tackle what is going broken. Today’s main evidence was from Claudia Birtles who was irreverent and unbelievably devoid of an empathy. She is VC‘s Care Coordinator now known as lead professional. In charge of case since first diagnosis in Nottingham of May 2020. She’s in charge of looking after his care plan, attending multidisciplinary team meetings and see that things are going according to the clinical plan. Examination of the notes today reveal the MDT’s seem like a chat, there’s no agenda, no template, no organisation and there seems to be no structure to these meetings. There were no minutes taken and hence no documentation. As you and I both know if something isn’t written in the medical notes it basically didn’t happen. Throughout the whole of evidence there was a feeling of lethargy, no curiosity, not challenging the Psychiatrists with their flawed management who themselves were of the poorest professional standard that I have come across. Basically there is no plan in place. It seems like a clinically stumbling stroll. The care coordinator is meant to know their patients really well yet knowing lack of concordance, there is no suggestion of a community treatment order (CTO) after Sec-3. Just repeated recording of lack of concordance with medication with no plan to pursue. He’s not taking medication and hence section after section repeated x4 with absolutely no improvement in management. What does improve is Birtles self management where she puts in the notes that VC is not to be visited singularly because she felt unsafe and the irony here that really upset me is that she didn’t give a second thought to the safety of much younger students. She never contacted University to alert of risks. Today’s evidence was particularly upsetting because at the end of every sentence that this Care Coordinator came up with she could have insisted on a different therapeutic direction like depot, but didn’t insist. Devoid of the vision of what might happen. Had there been a different course of Mx, depot, assertive outreach, any change of clinical direction ,VC I’m convinced would’ve missed our children. Claudia Birtles treated the whole 2 year management like some paper exercise with no positive intervention by herself. Selfish, lazy unprofessional but more importantly to me she had the opportunity to change VCs course and she didn’t. As for her totally inappropriate smiles and laughter, showed a total lack of empathy for the bereaved or respect for the Inquiry process. @bbcemt @BBCNews @GBNEWS @nottslive @nmcnews @wesstreeting

Thank you Martin Daubney for your support with our campaign against the injustice we have faced. I feel fully vindicated for my campaign to have a public inquiry. Today revealed failures by every level of staff in Nottingham Trust. “Cover up”, “singing from the same hymn sheet”. Care coordinator felt he couldn’t tell the truth if he continued working for the Trust. “It would have been a cover up”@MartinDaubney @GBNEWS x.com/GBNEWS/status/… x.com/GBNEWS/status/…

Week 10. Day 3. Dr Craig Murphy - trainee GP. Claudia Birtles - mental health nurse and main care coordinator of the EIP team managing VC. Commentary to follow later. But interesting to read: 1. Dr Seedat notes for 2nd discharge from his sectioning. ‘VC and family not happy’ with his observations that it’s not an ‘isolated incident’ and is going towards an illness (schizophrenia). So awareness by him and family in June 2020 of what it was? 2. Dr Murphy had a telephone consultation with VC following his 2nd sectioning discharge. Notes clearly his ability to show capacity and insight into his condition and treatment. (Didn’t Blackwood say he was in psychosis in 2020-2023???). Discharge notes show ref to diagnosis in 27 June and 31 July.
