Despite being told to get ahead with my annotated bibliography from the last cohort... I'm a little behind. I have a few sources I need to write more about. This week is going to be a lot of work and possibly one last all-nighter of the quarter🤩(I feel more productive at night)

@PalmerHolt7 @KCDNRP Me too! I've also been taking classes so it's been a little hectic for me. This will be a good time to also reflect on my internship and think about how I want to present what I've learned. We're almost there!!

My final deliverable for #ENVIR491 is already 11 pages😳... I guess I didn't realize how much I've learned this quarter and everything I desperately want to share with my host organization about the amazing community of South Park!

Key takeaways: 1) Remote work can be productive & manageable 2) King County has one of the boldest climate plans in the US, addressing the need for community resilience - most are only on mitigation, sometimes adaptation 3) It's too easy pulling all-nighters when living alone🫣

It's crazy how fast this quarter has past by... I'm starting to draft my communication plan 😵‍💫😵‍💫 How are people prepping themselves for the end of the quarter/internship?

I've been listening to As Long As Grass Grows, an audiobook by Dina Gilio-Whitaker. Since reading on the Makah case in 401, I've been interested in indigenous connections to environmental issues, and this book has been doing well in explaining it in context of the US.

@AllThingsIC I'm creating an internal communications plan for the Sustainable and Resilient Frontline Communities section of the King County Strategic Climate Action Plan. The plan will spread awareness on climate equity. What's the structure of an internal coms plan?

I did my last interview with kc srfc staff yesterday and oh my god like. You ever feel intimidated by someone cuz they're like. Charismatic? These interviews have taken up so much of my energy cuz I'm trying to make a good impression while also getting all the info I need 😭😭😭

@bella_capstone I've been having to balance school full-time and the internship, + stuff for art club. I've pulled three all nighters so far because I'm bad at managing my time 😓 my schedule has been structured around my coms class, which ends soon, so maybe things will be slightly better soon?
