@jillbarshay Thanks for calling out the relationship benefits of tutoring. Do you know if any recent tutoring studies looked at this element explicitly?

The problem with on-demand 24/7 tutoring is that you usually get a different tutor every time. Students don't form a relationship with a trusted adult who cares about them, which seems to be a big part of the magic of why tutoring works. (4/6)
