#StudentSpotlight Jared is a post bac pre med student, unraveling what happens to skeletal muscles following cardiac arrest. We are trying to use novel biomarkers that may inform standard of care in ICU settings.

#StudentSpotlight Jacob is a URI alumnus who graduated with a bachelor in cell and molecular bio. He studies metabolic cart data for our cold sleep participants, looking at energy expenditure and respiratory quotient. We hope to unlock how the body fuels itself during cold sleep

#StudentSpotlight Mateus is a biology / pre health senior working on our AstroFuel project, working with rats and using nutrition to prevent space induced muscle deconditioning.

#StudentSpotlight Roman is a junior in Pharmacy/Nutrition who worked on our cold sleep project, examining changes in electrical impedance myography during prolonged metabolic manipulation. We hope to identify the acute impact of this countermeasure on muscle health.

#StudentSpotlight I am so incredibly grateful for our students this semester. Matt is a senior (KIN, pre med). He has been working tirelessly on our cold sleep project and how glucose levels are impacted by hibernation-like state in humans. He will soon join BIDMC Orthopaedics!

@M2BLab @NASAWatch It’ll look pretty good on letterhead or other quality large uses, but the fine lines and tiny dots will turn to mush on small or rough uses, such as stamps on cardboard boxes and possibly envelopes, or in social media GIFs displayed on phones. May need simplified version.
