@MandiC76 @EdwardVersaii I don't know what to say. I have friends in Pakistan who go to brickyards where people are enslaved and they take food and water and they share the gospel. Maybe that's not "organic" enough for you, but they would sure love to be connected with people from the US.

@MAGuyton @EdwardVersaii If the Asbury revival is happening the way I’ve been hearing, I imagine they won’t be much help to someone “doing” revivals. From what I understand, Asbury is an organic, student- led revival, not a planned, orchestrated event.

The stories of the #AsburyRevival I've read exhibit the holiness I've discovered in queer/trans/autistic social spaces like at the @qchristianorg conference this January. But can they see the anointing of Cornelius? Or are they still saying "Surely not, Lord. They are unclean"?

Holiness is the gentle loving attentiveness of someone who is comfortable enough within their own skin that they're able to concern themselves with helping others feel safe and seen. Nobody walks on eggshells in the presence of true holiness.

Here's the "move of God" I want to see: for the evangelical kids at the #AsburyRevival to finally see the anointing of the queer/transgender Corneliuses and repent of the heteronormative hijacking of the Christian gospel that is sabotaging the Spirit's work.

...are in cahoots with the state in exploiting the people. While they focus on LGBTQI issues to project a false sense of moral clarity, millions troop into these same churches to pray for Visas to Europe and the United States. These churches should be ashamed of themselves.

That an African church chooses to cut ties with a European church because of LGBTQI issues shows a profound sense of moral confusion. I know of no harm LGBTQI people have caused Africans. But the church has been so fixated on them you might think they're causing Africa's woes. /1

@ProfDNgong It's so disgusting how this gets woven into the "colonialism" narrative when it was European colonialist missionaries who imposed their homophobia on African converts.
