CHAUMMA GOING INTERNATIONAL The 2025 General Election may not have been free or fair enough to fully reflect our true strength—but our journey was far from in vain. Even in an uneven playing field, Chaumma moved forward. And today, we carry a story not of defeat but of breakthrough. For the very first time, Chaumma has earned qualification for representation in the Programme for Young Politicians in Africa (PYPA)—a prestigious continental platform that recognizes parties with a presence in the National Assembly. This is not just a milestone; it is a signal that our voice is being heard beyond borders.PYPA, under the stewardship of the Christian Democratic International Centre (KIC) of Sweden, is more than a training—it is a gateway. Over the years, PYPA has shaped young leaders into negotiators, influencers, and decision-makers. Many of its alumni have gone on to contest and win leadership positions in councils and parliaments across Africa. It is a space where potential is sharpened into purpose. Today, we are proud to see two of our own rise to this continental stage.Hamis Masudi Mambo, our National Youth Coordinator, and Zaituni Hashim Rungwe, National Secretary of the Youth Wing, have been selected to join the 2026 PYPA Academy. Out of a vast pool of capable and committed young leaders within Chaumma, they stood out. Their selection is not only personal—it belongs to every young person who believes in a better Tanzania. The 12-day training has officially begun at Jinja Nile Resort in Uganda, with the next phase set for Nairobi later this year. As they embark on this journey, they carry with them the hopes, ideas, and aspirations of an entire generation. We stand with them, proud and expectant. Chaumma is a centrist movement driven by a bold vision: to build a new Tanzania grounded in a social market economy and guided by a simple but powerful moral truth - *"Hatuachi Mtu Nyuma”* (Leaving No One Behind) We believe in an economy that creates wealth, a state that ensures fairness, and a society that protects dignity. We believe progress must be shared. We believe opportunity must reach every corner. Because a nation is only truly strong when no one is excluded from its promise. As our wise elders remind us: _*"Kijua ndiyo hiki… tusipo uanika tutautwanga mbichi"*_, meaning that "this is the opportunity before us—if we do not prepare it well, we will be forced to act before we are ready.” The message is clear: moments of opportunity must be recognized and acted upon. Growth demands preparation. Progress requires courage. This is how Chaumma grows—not just in numbers, but in impact. Not just within borders, but across Africa. Therefore, the journey continues. Mafunzo yanajulikana kama Mpango wa Mafunzo kwa Wanasiasa ya Vijana (PYPA) na yanatolewa na taasisi ya KIC ya Sweden. Mafunzo hayo yatafanyika nchini humo kwa siku 12.
