@MoHFW_INDIA @NMC_IND @NMC_BHARAT The recent notification by the National Medical Commission imposing restrictions on medical students is nothing short of an admission that the system itself is flawed and untrustworthy. If the integrity of examinations is truly at risk, then why selectively target medical students? By that logic, curfews should be imposed across entire cities wherever examination centres exist. Singling out medical students for such restrictive measures is arbitrary, discriminatory, and completely unjustified. Instead of fixing systemic failures, you are choosing to penalize a specific group. If the system cannot be trusted, then take responsibility and address it at the national level—don’t scapegoat medical students for institutional shortcomings.

🚨 FAIMA strongly condemns the @NMC_IND advisory restricting medical students to hostels on 2nd–3rd May for NEET-UG 2026. This unjust directive questions the integrity of future doctors and undermines their dignity. Students are not suspects. We demand immediate withdrawal & a formal apology. #FAIMA #MedStudents #NEETUG

Dear Hon’ble @JPNadda Sahab Ji, @NMC_BHARAT @MoHFW_INDIA Urgent appeal to ensure strict nationwide implementation of the Uniform Residency Scheme, 1992. Persistent violations by medical institutions cannot be overlooked. Kindly fix accountability and initiate decisive action—defaulting institutions, HoDs, and Deans must be summoned and held accountable under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Thankful to @India_NHRC @UDF_BHARAT for taking up this matter.

🚨 Urgent | #LHMC Hostel Crisis Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) strongly stands with students of Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. The visuals emerging are deeply disturbing: ❌ Contaminated food with insects/larvae ❌ Extremely poor hygiene & waterlogging in hostels ❌ Unsafe living conditions with stray animals ❌ Complete neglect of basic dignity for medical students This is not just a hostel issue — this is a serious public health failure. Medical students, who are future healthcare providers, are being forced to live in such inhuman conditions. This is unacceptable. We urge immediate intervention by authorities: @MoHFW_INDIA @NMC_IND @DelhiGovDigital Students deserve dignity, safety, and basic living standards. FAIMA stands in full solidarity with LHMC students. ✊ #FAIMA #MedicalStudents #HostelCrisis #PublicHealth @ANI @PTI_News @jhasugandha10 @Shalini_Journo @DrDatta_AIIMS @KavitaDatt @brajeshlahri @DFlex007 @drsuyash2627 @MedPunjab @Lolita_TNIE @Madanjhajourno1 @mishraaneha21 @OrthoDoctor_GSP

It has come to the notice of National Medical Commission that a fake public notice is being circulated on social media. Strict legal action is being initiated against those responsible. All stakeholders are strongly advised to verify information only through official communications available on the NMC website: nmc.org.in

If the first page is referring to advisories and alerts issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), then it’s essentially signaling an important legal strategy: *What it implies (legally)* NMC is clearly indicating that: Public advisories, notices, and alerts issued from time to time will be treated as official communication These communications can be used as documentary evidence in court *Why this matters* In any future litigation (especially FMG/NExT/FMGL-related cases): NMC can argue that: 1. Students were already informed in advance 2. Adequate warnings were issued through official channels Courts may view these advisories as: 1. Proof of due diligence by NMC 2. A basis to deny relief if students ignored them *Practical impact on students* This creates a strong position for NMC: Even if a regulation seems harsh later, NMC may defend itself by saying: *“We had already alerted candidates through advisories.”* *Strategic takeaway (very important)* For any legal challenge: You cannot just argue “we didn’t know” Instead, arguments must focus on: 1. Lack of clarity or ambiguity in advisories 2. Contradictions between different notifications 3. Retrospective application of rules 4. Whether advisories had legal enforceability or just guidance value *In simple words* NMC is building a record to say: *“We warned you earlier—so you cannot challenge later.”*

@ANI @AHindinews @PTI_News @aajtak

1 extra kg of baggage and airline bills you exorbitantly. But 4 hours of flight delay and airline owes you nothing. Airlines track your baggage weight to the gram. Why don’t they value your time to the hour? If they can charge you by the gram, they must compensate you by the hour. Today in Parliament, I asked the Civil Aviation Minister whether they are working towards a compensation framework for passengers affected by significant flight delays!
