Somaliland’s self determination is led by strong willingness of freedom and resilience. For this self determination we have lost thousands and many other thousands have lost their limbs, eyes and hearings. Today that sacrifice pays off. #israel will remain in our hearts.

Nigeria appears to have limited understanding of East Africa, particularly the Horn of Africa. If nigeria was better informed about Somaliland’s current realities, it would not have issued such a press statement—one that fails to reflect the recent and evolving trajectory.
