In reality, instead of just looking up the definition of "democracy"- A democracy is simply a system of government where supreme power is vested in the people. Citizens exercise this authority directly or elect representatives to make decisions and pass laws on their behalf, ensuring the government reflects the collective will while protecting individual rights. Nothing more. Nothing less.
