Governor Moore Statement on Supreme Court Decision on Voting Rights Act

In the Callais decision, the Roberts Court just completed its effective demolition of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The new MAGA double standard is that the deliberate destruction of a majority-African American or Hispanic district is perfectly permissible as a “partisan gerrymander,” but the deliberate creation of a majority-African American or Hispanic district is an impermissible “racial gerrymander.” The pro-MAGA majority has capsized the will of Congress and gutted the Voting Rights Act.

Mitchell Dinner and Salute to see old friends, exchange stories, and celebrate this incredible statesman and his successor, @Mfume4Congress.
