Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

I have been deliberately silent on social media for a while. I use all my social media platforms to promote education & make dreams come true for young minds. I rarely post anything about family or politics. This morning, Israel demolished the building I have an apartment in. It took 22 years of my work here & 20 years of my wife’s work to own this apartment. This madness has to stop.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

I haven't the emotional energy to hold other's risk!

Worryingly the complex and multi morbid are overlooked by myopic @wesstreeting with no real sensible strategy, all the while corridor care worsens

Today's adventure in being a UK GP shows why the system is creaking. Of 30 patients on my list today, 3 were GP problems; rest are waiting for definitive secondary care treatment. Manager added our actual GP work (hypertension reviews) as extras because we have no time anymore.

The government is trumpeting the new GP contract. Patients and GPs alike are not convinced. I’m not sure the minister reassured them.

Letter from specialist nurse, following in-person clinic "Please can GP arrange investigations and email me the result" Why on earth can they not just do it in the clinic at the time the patient is there?! This wastes GP, Nurse and admin time. Appt wasted.

This morning. One GP practice. One hour. 240 clinical tasks before most people had started work. Four every minute. No political thanks. No headlines. Just a small teamy doing what they do every single day. When these practices close, nothing replaces them. Nothing.

We all know nothing will happen but let’s not forget how Reform are keen to punish this in anyone but themselves. @AngelaRayner and others would like a word.
