Officials in Social Circle, Georgia shut off water and sewer to a planned ICE detention center. The city says it can’t handle a facility that big and is using the move to push back against the center.

A few things people need to understand to have a smart discussion here… - Branch averaged 10.6 yards after the catch on 49 catches behind the LOS - He was UGA’s best/most consistent offensive weapon and tossing him a screen was an automatic get on schedule play for an offense that struggled with both efficiency and pass protection due to OL injuries for large chunks of the season - Branch was absolutely awesome whenever he was asked to go downfield. He had 43 TGT/32 REC for 440 YDS when targeted past the LOS and was 5/8 in contested catch situations. - He ended up with 2.57 yards per route run despite having an Avg Target Depth of 3.2 YDS. That makes him an extremely high floor guy who also has immense value as a returner. - I think anyone who studied Branch and the 2025 UGA offense would tell you that he got open downfield a lot and could’ve been used more in vertical concepts, but he was so effective as a screen guy that it became an easy decoy to get others open downfield. A lot of UGA’s big pass plays to other targets came off of teams biting on Branch showing screen.

This goes hand in hand with what I was saying the other day about people thinking a kid is gonna automatically get bigger faster stronger in the NFL. Nahhh. All that happens with resources and they’re are NOT allocated the same as at colleges. Colleges have to sell themselves to

@Trey2Triggerr Personally it’s his choice. Everybody has their choice. Not to say that I agree or disagree but from a recruiting and locker rooms standpoint I can only imagine this makes it harder because it’s always going to be an issue when you endorse political sides as a face of a program.
