After 4 weeks of skyrocketing fuel prices all we get from Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are half-measures. They refuse to deliver the maximum cut to diesel and a similar cut to petrol. They abandon 750,000 households who rely on home heating oil. They’ve no problem looking after the big developers, vulture funds and corporate landlords. But always shortchange working people, carers and disabled people. We’ve forced them to move. Now we need to keep the pressure on to deliver what’s needed.

Dear Cumann Member, Yesterday, we attended a commemoration for Vol. James Kirwan who was shot dead by Crown forces in Galway on 21/01/1921, aged 22 years, in St Mary's Church, Killererin, (old cemetery), Barnaderg. The headstone makes for particularly sad reading. #irishpatriot
