@MJCflipdascript The second half of the tweet explains my issue with it. Because there's an innate bias toward rewarding the fighter who advances more even if they're not landing any meaningful offense.

@mookiealexander I’ve never sold that stat during an event to help demonstrate someone in particular was winning/losing. It’s always been used as a tool to simply demonstrate HOW the fighters were fighting. Could the cageside talent attempt to explain that better? Absolutely.

@MJCflipdascript Because I think it's a very fighter context-based stat and it shouldn't influence who's winning/losing. Some fighters are clearly content to be on the backfoot and others prefer to move forward.
