@cardboardbst This is the 6th similar post I just went through. Not a single card for sale on these had a comment. What is going on? Are people just not buying anymore? This is nuts!

@RocStar81 @eBay Same thing happened to me. I sent my card to them in a sleeve and top loader and it was damaged after they got it and I got it back in a sleeve after the buyer requested a refund. @eBay something needs to be done about this.

Hey @ebay, a card passed the authentication process but got damaged because YOU sent it to the buyer in a penny sleeve/saver where the card slid out and the corners got damaged. Now the buyer is returning it and I have to refund him??? WHY??

@mikeyBcards Hey Mikey, it’s Misty..I’ve bought into his breaks multiple times and he was always good as gold and I always got all the cards that I was suppose to. I really hate this for him. You my friend, you’re one of the great ones and I enjoy all your breaks! Thank you!

I've known Brian Wolfe for many years. He was as close of a friend as I've had in this hobby and we would often text/talk multiple times a week. Our breaking businesses were similar in size and many of our customers did breaks with both of us. We hung out at the National, and the Industry Conferences and he and his wife and me and mine would have great times at the Panini Parties. I can only speculate on why he's doing the things he is doing. I haven't spoken to him in almost a year. We were going to hang out at the Topps Conference last year and when I arrived in Atlanta I called him to check in and he said he wasn't coming, that he was thinking of getting out of breaking. "Burned out" he said. Despite our businesses being very similar he would often order 3-4x or more of the same inventory I would. I noticed his breaks were taking longer to fill, or not at all and I knew his business was getting upside down. After he skipped the conference I reached out multiple times via phone calls and texts, none were returned. I got ghosted and I was really hurt I lost a friend. Sixish months later I got a text out of the blue asking to buy a flight voucher at a quarter of the cost. No hello, no hey here is what's going on, just do you want this $1300 thing for $900. I didn't reply. I can't fathom what place he is in if he feels his only way out is to lie and cheat people out of money. Violating trust and scamming multiple people throughout the hobby is not the guy I knew, but it is the guy he has apparently become. It's become very obvious this is someone you should not do business with, no matter the opportunity presented. It's also a stark reminder that no matter who the person is or their pedigree or reputation in the hobby you should ALWAYS protect yourself when it comes to buying cards, wax, etc. I hope he gets the help he needs. I feel the most for his young kids and his wife, who I also considered a friend. It's saddening to continue to hear stories continue to come out and you think you know someone but you never really do. Please be careful and no matter the deal, no matter how well you know someone, take those extra precautions.

@Jylesss @WolfesBreaks For what it’s worth, I used to get into Brian’s breaks and he was nothing but upfront, trustworthy and honest. Everyone is till they aren’t. He quit breaking about a year ago I’d say. That being said, this does not look good and I hope he makes this right for you.

Alright you guys want to know who the seller is… it’s @WolfesBreaks He lives about a hour north of me and just last year I met up with him bought a big WVU / Jevon Carter collection for $2,900 cash. Then even more recently I bought two more “grail” Jevon Carter cards for ~$400 I believe. I paid via CashApp and he sent them and everything went well. He then approached me with these cards and asked if I wanted to buy them. Of course I wanted to buy my first Tom Brady Auto, I mean it’s so sick especially with the inscription. Anyways, he has never had PayPal even though I only basically pay PayPal g&s for every single deal but didn’t blink an eye having to split up Venmo / Cashapp payments due to legit doing an in person deal with him & multiple other successful deals. We added a few more cards onto the brady card and he apparently shipped them Feb 5th via FedEx & just a few hours later it got a very weird RTS. (return to sender) Throughout the past month and half he claims he has went down there multiple times to try to recover the package and essentially they can’t find it, I guess? I paid him ~$7,500 for these cards & he has yet to refund me ANY amount nor offer any other resolution. I mentioned I’d be very fair and would do a payment plan or even trade + cash towards the debt or full trade lol. If the package actually did get lost / stolen, it is a very SHITTY situation considering he would be out the cards and I would be out my money. However, it’s part of the business - if you can’t risk shipping a package that you can’t properly reimburse if it gets lost then you shouldn’t be in the business. I understand $7,500 is a large sum of money and it can take some time to recoup funds to send back but that is why I was so open and transparent about figuring out a solution that works for both of us. He has a wife, two young boys and I understand adding a $7,500 “bill” to an already expensive world can be brutal. Especially, if he already spent my money on other stuff. The reason I didn’t make this post sooner is due to the fact he is still occasionally responding to me & he has always been a super nice guy. However, I now feel like i’m being somewhat taken advantage of for my generosity towards this situation. I still have hope Brian will do the right thing & make me whole. (as he told me via text March 5th) If you have any ideas on where these cards could potentially be - lmk asap and we can hopefully find a solution. Drop your thoughts below about the entire situation. This business isn’t for the faint hearted & can absolutely suck sometimes. Thanks for the support ❤️

@bigwerms I clicked on the very first one not sure what it was, but I’ve not clicked anymore. However I keep getting them and they’re coming from peoples cards accounts.
