The new report about October 7 details a collection of atrocities that will horrify any decent person. The purposeful invasion by terrorist death squads to commit crimes of inhumanity showed why Hamas had to be destroyed. Before another person howls about invented Gaza Genocide they should be forced to read this report aloud. No country can be expected to allow such a savage horde to live on its border. No country should be expected to share land with a group dedicated to is extermination. No country should have to tolerate this and be told to recognize them as a nation. The only logical response was to fight them and ensure they can never do this again. Israel has done that and more than anything this should reinforce the righteous nature of the war against Hamas. Every death in Gaza is blood on the hands of Hamas. First for the atrocities of Oct 7, then for using their own people as cover to hide behind when retribution came due. They are terrorists and war criminals. The timing of the @NickKristof propaganda piece in the New York Times is now apparent. It was a shameless attempt to deflect from the severity of this report. They allowed Palestinian terrorists and sympathizers to air lies that tried to create an equivalence of depravity that simply doesn't exist. Israel is a liberal democracy that has survived among neighbors who have tried (and failed) to destroy it for 75+ years. The Palestinians are an entity created by terrorist Yasser Arafat to give a name to the people who refused a state. They have been slaughtering innocents to try to steal all the land from the River to the Sea ever since. Israel gave them Gaza to rule and they elected Hamas. Israel was too patient for too long and October 7th was the reward they got. Their response was harsh but justified and well within the Laws of War. The current sickening flip where somehow Israel is the war criminals is stunning. Never doubt the power of propaganda and never forget what the Palestinians did on October 7th. The American Dream doesn’t belong to the highest bidder on Wall Street. It belongs to the American people, who work hard, save up, and play by the rules. I applaud President Trump’s leadership on this issue and urge the House to pass this bill.
