Hating Imran Khan is equal to hating Pakistan

🇵🇰 Pakistan looks beyond US-Iran talks: A strategic shift toward the EAEU 👉 While global attention is fixed on the US-Iran ceasefire negotiations, Pakistan is quietly advancing another major diplomatic initiative — this time with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The trade bloc includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan — acting as a single market for 180 million people. A recent meeting brought together Andrey Slepnev, Member of the Board for Trade of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), and Jam Kamal Khan, Pakistan's Federal Minister of Trade. 💬 "It is in Pakistan's great interest to establish strong economic relationships with the Eurasian region," says Nasir Abbas Shirazi, President of the Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS), in an interview with Sputnik. Shirazi outlines how the EAEU can benefit Pakistan: 🔶 Boost agricultural exports 🔶 Create joint ventures in science and technology 🔶 Open new opportunities in the energy sector 🔶 Reduce dependence on Western economies 🔶 Build reliable, long-term partnerships Connecting Eurasia to the oceans Pakistan's geography is its greatest asset, Shirazi notes. An FTA with the EAEU would integrate Eurasian markets with China-Pakistan Economic Corridor routes and Gwadar Port — giving Central Asia direct access to the Middle East and South Asia. What officials are saying 💬 "For Pakistan, deepening cooperation with the EAEU means not only new opportunities for trade but also a strategic partnership in logistics, energy, digital trade, industry, and supply chain integration." – Jam Kamal Khan 💬 "This partnership will be long-lasting, more friendly, less exploitative, and less dependent on political ups and downs," Shirazi emphasizes.
