@MMpact @ShipTheJustice @roundrobin42 If you link everything to limits, then whatever the maximum limit they are allowed to take, they will take from the vulnerable. Whereas they should not be taking anything at all from people with a problem.

The scenario I always picture is Sportsbook ceo sitting in front of congress and being asked how much player A was allowed to bet on his path to losing 30 mil and it’s like 500k. And then asking how much player B is allowed to wager on same bet and it’s like 87 cents. I just don’t see how the optics of that aren’t awful and how it wouldn’t lead to blowback for the industry as a whole.

@MMpact @ShipTheJustice @roundrobin42 I don't believe their is evidence to support this. As the soft model grew in popularity in the UK, I believe PG rates stayed fairly constant.
