After months of nonstop vibe-coding, I'm ready to unveil my first major project: runnit.app It’s still a work in progress, but it's running pretty smoothly now. Being a tech guy, I’m always looking to use automation to make things simpler (for the end-user, at least!). And I had 2 problems to solve: 1) Organizing my weekly volleyball pickup league, ensuring we always have the right number of players 2) Finding subs to fill in for missing players both in the league, and in general. So I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and create a social sports network. Initially designed to take the drudgery out of organizing weekly volleyball, but expanded to get athletes connected and playing their favourite sports.

Lots of people are saying I’m an academic who doesn’t understand what the trades are. But I’ve done lots of construction. Framing, roofs, doors and windows, tile, wood floors, plumbing, and electrical. I’m a master of none. But I understand them. The trades are NOT safe from AI.

@BretWeinstein Define "safe from". It's going to be a long time before robotics advance to the point of being able to handle hands-on work in the trades. But, I can see AI taking over aspects that don't require a human body.

Canadians, your options are all GONE. Please STOP asking me for help at this point. You could have and should have stopped the Canadian authorities from doing any of this. There were plenty of opportunities to do so. Now it's too late. Of course, Premier Danielle Smith's Alberta government can stop cancer patients from being harmed and reverse all of these actions within 24 hours. But they won't. They intend to kill every last Cancer patient instead. We are documenting these deaths as they happen. I've done all I could here, in Canada. I've gone above and beyond. @thevivafrei Rogan seems to genuinely like Pierre and want him to become PM. I don't think he had any intention of bringing up anything potentially damaging. I don't think Rogan would respond well to being given an ultimatum to avoid specific topics, either.

I didn’t hear anything vaccine related-discussed when Pierre was on with Rogan. I strongly suspect Rogan was told to avoid very specific issues.

@MMward9 @ezralevant Oh, so what you're saying is that refugees shouldn't be eligible for any help in becoming productive members of society in their new country. All other classes of immigrant need to have a job to get here unless they have some skill that's needed. I'm really missing your point.

1. Reminder: Tim Hortons hasn't been a Canadian company in more than a decade -- it's owned by a Brazilian firm, 3G Capital. 2. To save a few dollars, 3G Capital brings in foreign nationals rather than hiring young Canadians. Canada's youth unemployment is 14%. So gross.

This is sad. I know as a politician these companies are going to spend a billion dollars against me for saying it but 🤷🏽‍♀️ Pervasive gambling is not good for society. It turns life into a casino, traps people in addiction & debt, surges domestic violence, and fosters manipulation.

This sums up the dead end of “moderate” politics. Something needs to be done. But if the media can make you look like a mean person, then don’t do it. Do something else. And that “something else” is never defined nor enforced by law. Because that would look mean.

⚠️ It’s starting. Police are coming to Canadians homes for social media posts. This video is going viral. Two officers are at a woman’s home for the comments she made about Mark Carney. What I dont know is exactly what she said because that matters. If she is asking for him to be hurt or is asking for violence there are laws against this. But if she is just saying how much she dislikes him, is name calling etc that’s a whole other story. I know this future is coming to Canada either way. Carney wants us to be regulated like the UK where free speech is dead. Where you can’t criticize certain things (like him). If you know what that original post was drop it below please. I’d like to know.
